Akarrian Expansion is a free online RPG currently in development. The goal is to feature items, monsters, spells, guilds and everything else you expect from an advanced graphical MUD. The game is in its "Alpha" stage, currently with this list of features:

This Genre of RPG is practically unheard of! Its a graphical game that doesnt take much away from the imagination. So weither your a text based game lover, or a 2D rpg fan. AkarraXP is for you. Your characters are featured by 2D paperdoll representations that you can freely roam around the map, using either keyboard or mouse to move.

The game has many unique monsters that you wont find anywhere else, as well as traditional monsters. So weither your roaming the penninsula smashing rabbits ofer the head with your club, or traveling deeply within the dragon's lairs it's always an adventure!

The game features a color based skill system for mages, as well as class oriented skills. Which means the color of character you choose to be will determine the type of spells your caster would choose to master. Red is fire and energy, Blue is ice and wind, Green is nature, White is divine and Yellow is the darkspells and curses.

For those of you out there who want their characters to look nothing like anyone elses, AkarraXP also features appearance changing armors and weaponry. Many craft combinations to armors and weapons are still unkown to all players in game.
