Basically in 1v1 Wizards are the best.
in Open PVP FA's have advantages but seriously a well-equipped Wizard is the best class in the game whether its 1v1, open PVP or PVM.

When he says best he means it's the easiest to win because you have an advantage over most. Any class can defeat any class based on how good, or bad, the players are. Never forget that.

By best i mean the class where if the players are equal, one will almost always win.

Lets say, all players from each character is lvl 150 with same gears (same +) with best options for their character (+magic amp for magic users and +sword amp for sword users).
Then best characters for PVP would go something like this:
Wizard>Force Archer>Warrior>Blader>Force Blader>Force Shielder
Of course player's skill have alot (by alot I mean ALOT) of effect on the result. If you play well, a Warrior can beat a Force Archer. Force Blader can beat Bladers and Warriors (Most likely not, but theres a chance). Bladers can beat Warriors. But beating a Wizard requires a player of a Wizard to be just a skill spammer. Force Shielders has zero percent of chance to beat anybody else but other Force Shielders.

Lets say if their equipment's (lvl 150 players) are +0 and have no options.
Then the order should look like this:
Wizard>Force Archer>Warrior>Blader>Force Blader>Force Shielder
Except that Force Bladers have no chance to win anyone else than other Force Bladers and Force Shielders. Bladers dont match with Warriors. Im still tempted to say that Warriors may beat Force Archers, but its really hard.

Conclusion: Yes Duo is right, the skill of players determines alot (never underestimate it) but overall Wizards and Force Archers have the most advantages whether its PvP or PvM.

I agree the range classes have an advantage. When it comes down to melee vs ranged, it comes down to who can use dash faster, and melee always has to play catch up to the ranged classes when it comes to dash. But if you can react fast enough, i think melee classes can beat wizards and FA's comfortably. Melee classes can get in a skill (or 2 if a weaker skill is used) within the time it takes for FAs and Wizards to cast, and knockdown effects help. And the larger hp helps aswell. Comes down to refexes IMO.

Can people still use dash after they have been rooted/stunned? Not sure what the terminology is, but i blieve that wizards get spells that "freeze" people in place.

And again,if im not mistaken, wizards get more hp then bladers, but wear the same armor.

Its true that player's skill determines alot. When it comes to PvP, its all about using right combo, dashing and fade stepping in right time and retargeting fast enough.

The biggest advantage with rangers is they can fade step and still attack from range. FYI, fade step breaks opponent's combo (because it will gets you untargeted from your opponent(s)). Fade step is a skill that you dash backwards (and gets you untarget, many ppl dont know this). So basically you use fade step (dash backwards, opponent will need to try retarget you). Remember that you still have your opponent on target unless he fade stepped too, for melees it makes no sense, because for melees the main point is trying to be as near as your opponent as possible, especially against ranged players. And when a Ranged complete his/her combo, opponent would be dead already.

Wizards have stun, knockdown and knockback skills. For wizards the most important thing is to get your Grand Master skill called Extreme Dual Cannon, not that it deals amazing dmg, but it also have the stun ability plus DOT.

"Rooted" is actually when you just well "root" that means you will just stay in one place but still be able to attack in range.
"Stunned" is when you stay in one place and cannot attack.
Wizards got skills for both abilities.

Well i meant was that if i root someone can they still come and try to attack me? Because if i can root someone and they can't move, then it seems fairly clear why mages >> all melee classes. Frozen status effect as well.

Yes theres a chance to root people. Root only works for melee classes tho, since if you root a ranged class they can stil attack you from range. But dont count on rooting in PvP since theres a fair chance that it will fail.
