i understand that Cyraan but i was ok with them making it something less "conflicting" like if they kept it at only looks where bought from the cash shop

or things that wouldnt give people with money an advantage of such magnitude!

You can't really ***** over 2x exp and gacha. I mean if you saw your friend taking basketball courses for 100$ and then is able to beat you, your not going to ***** and say o your only good because you paid for basketball courses. So stop complaining over 2x exp and gacha.

I think the current form of advertising in maple is ok. It doesn't bother me when a store looks like a real one or when somewhere stands a big cokebottle.
As shadow said, it bothers when it gets out of hand, like a maple TV on every map lagging the shit out of me for example.
Yesterday i encountered an addbanner wich changed background colour from black to green repeating at ~5Hz, NOW talk about annoying advertisement!

For those who compared videogames advertisement to Basketball and superbowl ads, they're completley different. So what you're saying is, "Everytime I play ( ) I will expect see a walmart." .....That's not normal.

I don't know about you but, when I play videogames I think of it as a fantasy away from reality. The last thing you should want to see while trying to get away from everyday life is a real store from that everyday life. You mean I have to look at Best Buy in Maplestory AND down the street too? I'm just saying that you have the right as a gamer, (for those who pay like I did. and yes even those who have never paid). and a say of what you want and what you see.

Don't forget YOU'RE the customer here. They have to adjust to YOU! Don't belittle yourself.
The way Maplestory did it was just plain insulting. At least have the decency to make it subliminal (lie to me). In past events ads were so extreme like (Mc.Donalds) it had to be censored. ( the crap was fattening!....still is )

And about the pay to play here...getting back to my point, the game feels hollow and less worth and less fun and enjoyment when you put in cash to get an advantage. It may sound like I'm pointing the gun at the GachaNXers but, I'm not. I'm pointing it at the system.

Sorry Cryann but, I'm about to drink a half a gal of Haterade. lol jk about that.


And think about it. This isn't teaching the youth a very good lesson about life. Throwing money at your problems doesn't always 100% help you get ahead. Sometimes you gotta use your brains.

Well for one thing, I think people are taking the phrase "free" too literally. Money isnt required to download the game and start it up. THe only thing that costs money is stuff found in the cash shop. Well, the cash shop isnt needed to play is it? Therefore, its free.

People complaining about NX and how its unfair how they cant get it, well, isnt it our decision if we want to spend NX? We want to spend our hard earned money (or maybe our parents) money on NX? Isnt it our decision? Too bad if you cant buy NX, because you cant have everything. Im not allowed to buy a $1,500 flute because its too expensive or because its not necessary in life. But thats mine, or my parents decision. If you had NX, you would be saying the same thing, because ur pacifire would be in ur mouth because finally u think ur "better" than 50% of the maple population out there.

NX doesnt prove anything. it doesnt make u a better person, it doesnt make u better than anyone else, and it doesnt make you feel good inside. Its just little virtual items that, when you log off the game, goes away.

believe it or not, all of us are guilty of advertising maplestory. Whenever we tell a friend about maplestory, or even put up pictures of the game like we do on OnRPG, we advertise to the world what maplestory is. So, if you hate that maplestory is advertising, shoot yourself in the head to get rid of one more advertisement.

OK well ive been bantering about my feelings, and I know all of you have valid points. I dont want to cause any arguments out of this, but I feel that my opinions need to be stated. If you dont agree with what I say, thats ok, but dont start any argument about it, because I dont want it.
