First of all, why the hell is this thread not closed?
This is just another pointless thread made to flame a certain game.

Secondly...to all those smart asses saying:

"OMG RUNESCAPE IS SUCH A WASTE OF LIFE...BLAH BLAH, THEY DON'T REALIZE THEY'RE WASTING THEIR LIFE ON THIS USELESS GAME..."

You "waste" your time on your own mmorpg that you play as well.
There is NOTHING different from a person that "wastes" their time on any mmorpg game and a person that "wastes" their time on runescape.
Ofcourse your going to say "BUT RUNESCAPE IS SUCH A SHITTY GAME, HERES A LIST OF 1000 THINGS THAT SUCK ABOUT RUNESCAPE!!11!!11!11!111!!"

Listen you moron, as long as that person thats playing the game is enjoying it, THEN why does it matter? Different people have different tastes in mmorpgs.. So stop being so closed-minded and get over the fact that you too are "wasting" your life playing a mmorpg.

The reason I quote the word "waste," is because your not wasting your time if you enjoy what you are using your time on. People that play runescape, enjoy playing it, just like you enjoy playing WoW, maplestory, etc. So stop flaming runescape and the people that play it, it just shows how closed-minded and stupid you are.

And fyi to anyone that is going to start flaming me; no i don't play runescape.
I'm just trying to knock some sense into some of the ill-minded people out there.

1. Most of the people in this thread have played runescape (I have for a few years), and I think that would mean we could say that about it, is it a game, yes, but its not good. If you have played, you would know. We are not being hipocites. We played, and we dont now, if someone who does play likes it, fine, good for them, and I really dont care if they do.
2. We are not flaming, well, at least Im not trying too. All we are doing is having a good time, talking about how runescape is going to end, since 99% of us in this thread have played. I am not flaming you, or anyone, but I believe I have the right to say this.

Lol you actually spent time typing the reallly long paragraph...useless making fun of runescape is fun lots of people who tried playing runescape and didnt like it have gathered up here and started making fun of it...you cna sue for our opinions but other than that u dont have my IP address!

yeah saying "runescape is not a good game," is your opinion. Others have different opinions, so im saying to accept OTHER peoples opinions as well as yours. Ask any runescape player, i bet they will say that its fun and a great game. Stop thinking about only your own opinion, hence "closed-minded."

I don't care for Runescape, but obviously it is a quite popular game. But, I choose Other.

Other :

I heard that when you die you can get your stuff back if you to your gravestone within 5 mins....so... When you return to your gravestone and click it, it shuts off a portion of the world from playing Runescape. Thus, leaving...nobody? =P

But yah, if you like Runescape, please, enjoy it. =D

Oooh! Harsh! I can see your point, but a lot of people have played it, dislike it and end up flaming it. That happens with most games you end up getting tired of it and begin to flame it.

By the way, I picked some things i'd just like to point out in your post:

1) Because it's kinda fun, well... ya know, a place to vent your frustration caused by Runescape.

2) Does your Caps Lock break every so often or are you shouting?!?!?!? Against the rules! I can sorta see your point there... I think I can anyway. You are saying that we are wasting are lives flaming this game right? You see most posts here are just like, hmm... I'll fill in 5 mins of my life by just contributing to this post/flaming this dumb game. We're not wasting our lives staring at this thread constantly to see a reply, we're just fillin in empty/free time.

3) I'm really confused about this bit. I don't know what you're talking about here. If you are looking at this just as a glance to see if anyone has replied hen please rephrase this for people like me. By this i mean people you think are "dumbasses".

4) True... True... But some people will end up getting tired of their tastes and change as I have pointed out 5 para's previous.

5) People either play games to fill in gaps of spare time or to speak to friends that live in other countries or as a community "gateway". Closed-minded, eh? Hypocrite, eh? Just let me think a bit. Hypocrite, saying something is bad and then doing it, right? Closed-minded, keeping to one idea, not accepting any other ideas. I can see where you are getting the closed-minded bit from, but you have to admit that we all have an open-mind to any game we start and then we choose, mainly because of the features that we find in the gameplay, if we hate it or like it and then our mind is almost firmly closed. But the Hypocrite bit is confusing me. We are flaming it but we are not playing it as well. That would be hypocritical.

6) I'd just like to say, even the Runescape players flame the game! So I think that if the fans flame it then we surely can have a go at flamin it. Can you see where I'm coming from?

There are more things that I could pick at in your post, but I only picked out the ones that stuck out most to me. You and many others can flame my post if you want, I'm not really bothered. Sorry that this post is soo-oo long.
