The reason why we like this game? Well, there are lots of things to do/see and explore. The Rohan world is also persistent, meaning all your friends can play together with you, be it 1 or 50. Haven't had 50 friends playing at the same time yet...haha-so don't hold me to that! Just make sure you're all playing on the same server...I think we're (most of the forum members posting on this thread) are playing on the second (from top) server. Imagine a 50 player raid...you wouldn't all be in the same party but there's no reason as to why you couldn't provide additional support to accompanying parties though. ![]() There's a town seige feature too, although I haven't participated in one personally, it's all part of the intricate PvP system. What else is good...? You can also buy pets and have various mounts such as horses, tigers (at least it looked like a tiger to me) and spiders. There's also a variety of races to choose from, humans, elves, half elves, dark elves and dragon knights. Then there's the obligatory good looking character models/textures, armour/equipment, weapons...etc. ![]() It's all good fun! What are you waiting for??? Come and join!

Rohan weak points: In some places mobs attack you through walls, that reminds me of L2J Servers. Some skills are bugged,I already reported 2 bugs, they solved one.Mobs' textures are not so good as character textures.Mobs' AI is not so complex. All are aggressive, sometimes is difficult to find a good spot for grind. The good places are usually taken by bots. You must be very careful what skills you want to learn, because you can have only 60% of total skills. And to reset and redistribute them after is very expensive. No matter how hard you try,a guy that buys cash shop will be at least 3 times better than you(including here level, drop, weapon, armor, character stats). They sell everything there, but you can't buy,the payment system is available only for Japan. You can buy from players, but these items are very expensive.Japan is a rich country, about 80% of traders sell cash shop items. Proffession quests...some are very easy to complete(Guardian),some are a real nightmare(Dragon Knight). No GM is needed to ban a non-japanese guy,any other player can do that. Grind....grind...grind.On lvl 50+ you can get about 30% exp after you complete all the quests available for that level. The rest of 70% is grind. And the multi-kill system won't help you anymore. So,Sira...if you ask someone that really plays this game,I'm telling you this: It's a nice game but overall...the old Lineage 2 wipes the floor with Rohan,SUN,Granado Espada,Shaiya, etc, etc, etc. Sorry for my rusty English,I am Dekan...at least until AION comes out. Captain, you can't translate the quests and the NPC dialogue.Client doesn't have those texts. In quests.bin you can find only the code for the quests' texts..Client sends these codes to the server and requests the text for each quest. They dissapear after you exit the game.If you completed about 30 quests so far, check the "Completed quests" button. You will have lag a little bit.On 150 or more quests completed the lag is bigger.Because you are requesting and then downloading more data from the server.I was looking for the quest texts and NPC dialogue for a long time too
Mob names don't appear even in quests counter, this makes the quests more difficult to complete if you use the monster.bin translated into English.

Hi Lorra
![]() It looks like the objectives are contained in the quest.bin. I think I can translate the monster names and quest items required along with what NPCs you need to talk to. That in itself should be enoguh to complete half of the quests I guess. The second thing that I would like to do to for the quests is to take note of what quest items drop from what monsters and place them in the quest descriptions. That way all of the quests should be doable. I just have to program some stuff to read and alter the quest.bin... Its format is different from the other bin files :'( I hope to have this done by next week sometime but we will see. |

This is easy to be done, but useless,no objectives are there. To find what quests are available for you, what NPC gives them,on what level are available and what items reward and exp you will get is easy,it is enough to translate the NPC's,I have them,I can send the file to you if you wish.I'm almost sure the quest texts are not in the client. In itemquest.bin are only the names of the items, and you have to get one first to see its name. This is also useless,if you get one is easy to get the remaining ones. They don't appear in quest texts or in the counter(that one with "bat crap" obtained 2/100).On many quests we have to kill mobs right? Well,we have the mobs translated(you have...I don't use that file). And mob names are still in Japanese.Quest texts and counter are predefined, you can't change them because you don't have them. You can try,but you waste your time.Better grind some,on every maintenance they modify the files from "data" anyway.Last time "quests" was one of them.Trust me,I am doing this for a very long time, every Tuesday is "rebuild file" day for me.Sometimes I am lucky, they add the stuff at the beggining or at the end of the files(or both). But sometimes they modify inside the file and there's no other option but to rebuild it from ground zero.But...Good Luck,Captain!
