((If you counter someone's Rengeki with your own, they have no way to Counter-Rengeki you, so that's a surefire attack. Although I could have always given you a chance to Counter-Rengeki me, but meh. Sorry though...))

Haseo pulled the massive sword out of the chunk of ground he had destroyed and threw it up in front of him to block the incoming attack. The thing was so big that he could barely see over it, and it blocked from his waist to his neck. "Bring it on!" he screamed as the man hurtled forward towards him.

OOC: Skill Triggers are used in conventional battle without drawbacks. Only in Arena battles does Couterattack take place. In conventional battle it's whoever initiated their attack first that gets to hit. Rengeki in conventional battle is only when the purple crap is floating around your head.

Aramin cut his attack out early, somersaulting to his feet and running to the defending Haseo. Improvisation time.

Aramin used his first kick to attept to move the sword out of the way, then followed up with three slashes to the Rogue's chest. Two skills, two turns. He found it amazing how seldom he used conventional attacks in PVP...

But now was not the time to be philosophical. He had to keep focused to keep alive.

As the young man Haseo addressed as "Matsu" began charging up his Tempest Blast, Akira leaped into the air, and a dark aura began to surround him....

Demon's Lance!

Spears of darkness began to rain down on Matsu, and while he was distracted, Akira twirled behind Matsu and struck him in the back with the blade of his Gun. Noticing that Matsu had barely taken any damage at all from his attacks, Akira cursed under his breath. "This guy is tougher than I thought.....looks like I'll have to use it after all...." He smirked in Matsu's direction, and Akira leaped into the air once more, this time installing explosives unto his bullets.

Messengers of death, hear my voice and arise! MASSACRE CARMESIM!!!!

Exploding bullets began to rain down onto the ground, a tidal wave of blood came seemingly out of nowhere and crashed into the four players below him. A heavy cloud of smoke soon followed.

"Did I...*coughcough*...get him? *coughcough*"

Blood? What the hell!?

Aramin caught a very powerful blast of red liquid in his chest, knocking him from his feet. He hit the ground with a grunt, rolling to his feet as quickly as he could. When he regained his focus he noticed the dust around.

Perfect.

He chuckled loudly as he backed into the dust, disappearing from sight. Time to try another ambush...

((Counter-Rengeki's can be used in PVP, I've done it plenty of times on Chaotic PKs. Let's just put it behind us anyways, since we obviously continued anyways. :P And yes Soren, Haseo uses a scythe. He has three weapons he can use: Scythe, Broadsword and Dual Swords. The Scythe is the only one of the Lost Weapons he carries, though.))

Haseo's sword was knocked from it's defensive stance, and three piercing cuts made their way across his chest. He screamed out, but reacted quickly, and just as soon as the man had stopped his attack, Haseo twirled around, bringing the Broadsword with him, and swung it full force at the man in front of him. But just before it made contact, a wave of what looked like pure blood came crashing down to his side, and to avoid it he had to jump as high as he could into the air, and on his way down he decided to at least try an attack. He brought the sword out in front of him and swung it down as he descended, hitting the ground and creating an even larger shockwave than before.

Matsu's shot missed as the man rose into the air. He looked up to see a black aura emanating from the man. "Is this AIDA?! No...it can't be..." he said to himself before coming to his senses and blocking the multiple spears headed his way. Matsu had no time to react, however, to the word screamed from behind him: MASSACRE CARMESIM! Bullets started to fall from the sky, exploding upon impact with the ground. Matsu dodged quite a few, but couldn't evade all of them; there were too many, and the explosive radius was quite big. Matsu kneeled down after the attack, his pride bruised and his body hurt, but he noticed a wave of red liquid coming down on him. There was no way he'd dodge it, none at all, and he looked down at the ground in despair. But seemingly out of no where, or because he had completely forgotten she was there, he heard the words "Pha Repth!" Matsu looked up, full of vigor now, and jumped clear over the wave of blood, then fell into a full run at his opponent, his blade raised above his head, and he brought it down upon the man with as much force as he could muster.

Akira swung his sword infront of him to parry Matsu's attack. Althoygh successful, the attack left a crack in his sword. He then manuvered past Matsu and ran towards Atoli, firing bullets as he approached. He then rose his gun above his head...

Moon Fall!

He then swung his gun down in a crescent fashion, firing bullets as he did it. He ran up to her and raised his sword above his head to administer a power sword swing, firing several bullets in the process. Akira then brought his gun back to his side and reloaded before preparing for another skill.

Desperado!

He fired bullets in random directions out of desperation, hoping he'd hit something. It was after he had finished performing Desperado, when he could feel it. A negative energy source closing in on their location....

"Something doesn't seem right...."

Matsu looked around for his enemy, but couldn't see him in the clearing dust. Though he couldn't see the man anymore, a small, familiar scream gave his position away, and Matsu started towards Atoli's location.

Haseo looked around, the dust clearing from both his shockwave and the blood, but couldn't see anyone. Atoli's screams rung through the air, and before he even had a chance to think, he was bolting through the dust towards her. When he got there, he kept running, but this time at the man who was shooting at Atoli. "Ghost Falcon!" he screamed as his Broadsword disappeared and two same length, identical swords appeared in either hand. He then rose into the air and sped at the man. As he descended upon the man, he noticed a look of confusion and realization on his face. If this attack hit the man, who was oblivious to the fact that Haseo was even there, then he was done for.

Atoli dodged quite a few of the bullets, but was hit by a couple, and noticed the man running toward her. "Ap Corv, Ap Corma, Ap Vorv, Ap Vorma." she said in rapid succesion, inscreasing all of her Defensive and Offensive stats by a good amount. The man got even closer, and in fear, she screamed. Bullets whizzed past her, and the man got closer and closer, until finally his blade was right over her, and he stopped. Atoli looked up at the man, confused for whatever reason, but noticed Haseo speeding towards him a second later. "Haseo, no!" she said and swung her Staff at him in desperation. It hit him, and he fell to the ground with a grunt, glared at her, and then sensed it himself. "Do you think it's the God Eater?" Atoli asked. "I don't think so...it's much stronger." he replied.

((In case you don't know Soren, the God Eater was the strongest enemy in Vol.2 of the GU series. You could only fight him if you beat the actual story of the game, and he was a level 100 monster. But anyways, I don't know where this is going, but either you or Aries can make it go there. I won't intervene, I'll just fight. I am, afterall, only supposed to be the NPCs.))

Aramin finally found his target. He rushed out of the dust behind Atoli and executed a pincer attack to her character's throat.

Gank

Aramin's attack was from ambush, behind a very busy Cleric who had already taken damage. If it hit it would do massive damage. Either way, Aramin kicks the Cleric's body away after he finishes and looks at the spectacle before him. He notices Matsu and runs straight forward.

Well, he's not the Terror of Death, but I guess the Flame Demon will do for now.

"You two feel it, too?" Akira looked at Atoli and Haseo. They both nodded in reply. "It feels much stronger than God Eater, I can tell you that...." he trailed off as the sky darkened and a storm began to brew as the area began to sort of....glitch up a bit. You could see the data encryption codes momentarily, but they disappeared in the blink of an eye. Not seconds later, a rather gruesome attrocity appeared out of nowhere and lunged at Atoli. "No!!" Akira screamed, lunging infront of the monster and taking the blow instead. He hit the ground with a loud THUD! Now coverred in blood, his vision began to blurr, and he began to cough up blood.

"Damn....th-that thing...g-got me....good....." His vision blurred some more, and a light began to appear infront of him....

What was that thing that hit him? Surely it didn't look like anything he had seen before. And when his character was on the verge of death, this didn't normally happen. What was going on? He began to wonder, as he began to loosen his grasp on his conciousness....

((You can probably tell what's going on, and I'm not very knowledgeable per se about AIDA, I'm basing it on what happened whenever you found a virus infection in the original .hack series, where the field would glitch up and stuff.))

Haseo watched as the beast lunged at Atoli, but the other man reacted faster than he and protected Atoli from the blow. As he hit the ground, he coughed up blood, and mumbled something about the thing. Haseo didn't hear it, however, because he was busy trying to summon his Avatar.

"Come on...come on...I'm right here! SKEEEEITH!!!!!" he said as he transformed into a larger, more fearsome thing. The area around him changed into a bubble of data coding, and in front of him was a huge, purple beast, with black orbs floating inside the center of it. Instantly, Skeith started shooting small bullets at the thing, until it was stunned. It didn't put up much of a fight. Haseo dashed forward to it, and slashed it with his scythe, causing it to run away from him. A larger gun now appeared on his right arm, and he charged it and yelled "DATA DRAIN!!!" The ball hit the purple AIDA beast and sucked it's data right out of it, into Skeith's right arm. Skeith slowly transformed back into Haseo, and Haseo's surroundings returned.

"I've managed to get the AIDA infection out of you, you should be fine." he said to the bleeding man. He then turned to the other beast and said "Let's finish this!"
