Akira could feel his energy returning to him. "Th-thank you...." he said to Haseo, and he sat back to recover. Akira began rummaging through his bag. "C'mon, I know it's here somewhere...." he mumbled to himself. He then found his bottle of healing potion, and drank what little of it he had left to assist in his recovery. He got up, staggering a bit at first, but he eventually managed to stand his ground. "Playtime's over!" Akira exclaimed as he drew his Gun. He began running circles around the giant beast, firing bullets at it's feet. While it wasd staggered, he quickly manuvered behind it and raised it above his head.

Moon Fall!

His sword came crashing down as he fired a barrage of bullets. His body was welling up with rage, and he was getting a hell of an adrenaline rush from it. "Heh, I haven't been this excited in a long time!" as he continued to fire bullets at the beast. He looked at Haseo, "I'll provide a distraction, you do whatever you can to help me beat this thing to a pulp!" he shouted.

Ultimate Aries

Aramin had stopped in mid-step and had a look on his face like he'd just seen a ghost. That creature was doing something that he was sure wasn't part of normal game parameters. And the glitches...something was going on. He ignored the red man in front of him and stared for a second at this new creature.

Ah...a challenge. Haseo's going to have to wait. This is my prey.

Aramin snickered as he charged straight forward. He lusted for blood; This one was going down. He figured a DOT was good for now...

"Well, now is better than never." Haseo said as he rose into the air. "GHOST FALCON!" And he descended upon his opponent again, this time being a giant beast. He got close enough to execute his attack, and did a mid-air somersault, then brought both of his swords down on the creature, hitting it several times. He then brought both swords over his head, and with one last thrust, a wave of energy engulfed the creature. Haseo fell to the ground and looked at the beast; it was now staggering under all the damage being dealt to it. Haseo noticed the other man from before rushing to meet the creature with his own swords. Haseo made no attempt to stop him; he obviously knew something was up. Yata wasn't going to like this...

Matsu cowered as the man rushed towards him. In the blink of an eye, he had no idea what had been going on. The one man had disappeared, rushing at Atoli, but he never knew what had become of her. Then another man appeared and rushed him, only to disappear as well. Matsu cursed under his breath, but followed the sounds of battle anyways. When he got to the fight, he saw a giant beast, and Haseo and the two men fighting it. Atoli was off in the shadows whispering "La Corv, La Corma, La Vorv, La Vorva" and increasing everyone's stats. The beast was struggling under the pressure, but it managed to get a few attacks in. Suddenly, and what seemed out of nowhere, the beast swung its tail in a full motion, knocking Haseo and the other man out of the way. He heard Haseo scream "That's it, you're going down!" and his scythe now appeared in his hands. Matsu joined the other man in shooting the beast, using skills here and there, but the battle raged on and on. Was it ever going to end?

Back to Haseo:
Haseo had drawn his scythe, willing to destroy this beast. With every hit, Haseo seemed to become stronger and stronger, and it gave him a good feel, when finally he knew it was time. "Matsu, Atoli, get close to me!" he screamed. "You two, stay away. I don't want you caught in the blast!" he said to the other men. Atoli and Matsu obeyed, drawing closer by the second, but Haseo didn't dare use Data Drain when there were two bystanders present; he didn't know what would happen.

Akira continued to fight the beast, his blood boiling more and more as the battle raged on. Once his adrenaline reached his peak, he leaped into the air, channeling this energy into his palms. He then raised his hands into the air...

Demon Awakening!

Meteoriotes began falling from the sky, crashing onto the ground with extreme force. Afterwards, Akira landed onto the ground and continued firing once more. Akira looked up and noticed a green triangle symbol on the back of the monster's head. "Perhaps that's its weak point." He leaped into the air and condensed shadow energy into his bullets, aiming his gun at the triangular symbol.

Demon's Lance!

Spears of darkness rained down upon the monster's head, until.....YES! A direct hit! "I hope this works..." Akira mumbled to himself.

Aramin was no idiot. He knew that when a warrior told you to get the hell out of the way, the best thing to do was get the hell out of the way. Removing his blades from the beast's body he started moving away, but then noticed the Gunner had not budged a horizontal inch.

"Get back, you fool! You wanna get fricasseed?"

Diving at the man, he knocked him backwards. The Twin Blade rolled once along the ground and stood up, hoping to catch a glimpse of Haseo's true power.

Now let's see how you *really* won two tournaments, Terror of Death...

Haseo noticed the Gunner still hadn't moved, in fact, he had kept shooting the beast. He was about to say something when he noticed the Dual Sword wielder dive at him and knock him out of the way. "Perfect..." he said, and he looked to Atoli. She nodded, and then he looked to Matsu, who also nodded. "Alright then." he said, and the two of them started lending him their energy. Haseo, on the other hand, started summoning his Avatar. "Come on...come on. I'm right here. SKEEEEITH!!!" he screamed, and his Avatar burst forth, replacing Haseo, and a bubble of Data Coding appeared around him and his enemy. Without even a second thought or glance at his enemy, he instantly went into a Data Drain mode, and started charging the cannon on his right arm. He shot the ball, only to watch it miss horribly, but Skeith was ready with another ball in mere seconds. The beast charged him before he could get another shot in, but Skeith was too fast, and the ball hit the enemy point blank, its data being sucked into Skeith's right arm. Haseo floated back down to the reappearing ground and yelled to the two remaining warriors, "FINISH IT!" He had been drained of his strength by going right into a Protect Break without even injuring the beast, and Atoli and Matsu had given much of their strength as well. He hoped the beast didn't provide too much trouble for these two, or else they might have a problem on their hands...

Akira ran circles around the beast, firing bullets rapidly to provide a distraction until he held his gun closae to him, reloading before readying a Desperado attack....

Desperado!

Smoke filled the air as Akira fired a flurry of bullets at the beast, hoping that the Twin Blade could get behind it and finish it off....

Aramin was unfazed by the fact that the monster had suddenly and without reason looked like it had been hit by a bazooka. Even as the Gunner began firing like crazy Aramin smirked and dashed forward, taunting an inanimate video game as he ran.

"What's that behind you? Oh, wait. It's me."

Windwalker

Aramin turned up behind the huge enemy in midair, his blades at its throat. His malicious smile had not yet dissapeared.

"Heh. Flawless."

Gank

Sliding his arm-blades quickly across its neck rewarded Aramin with a shower of digitalized blood flowing from between his hands. He used the crature's shoulders as leverage and launched into the air with a front flip, landing just after the creature fell. He looked up with a homocidal grin.

"So, Terror of Death, care to explain what the hell just happened?"

Akira was astonished at the Twin Blade's skill. He approached Haseo, Matsu and Atoli with a confused look on his face., and breathing heavily. "What...the hell....just....happened? What was...that thing??" He fell to his knees, exhausted. He looked up at Haseo. "And you...you saved me....why?" he asked. "I....tried to kill you...." Has he regained his strength, he got to his feet and sheathed his weapon. "Anyway, I'm Akira." He looked over at the Twin Blade. "An introduction would help..."

"You no doubt already know us; Haseo, the Terror of Death; Atoli, the Harvest Cleric; and Matsu, the Flame Demon. But there really isn't any time to explain. We've gotta hurry back to the Serpent of Lore and let Yata know about this. I'll only answer the quick questions." Haseo said as he turned to the Steam Gunner. "I saved you because if I hadn't, you'd be in a coma right now. I made a promise to myself to never let it happen to anyone ever again, so you were merely lucky." and then he turned to the Twin Blade. "And though you may not have seen it, I fought a battle against AIDA, the infection you've probably heard about from Salvador Aihara. The beast was infected with it. And so was he." Haseo said, gesturing to the Steam Gunner. "Don't worry though, both infections have been taken care of. You two are witnesses to everything that just happened, so I think you deserve the full story. Come to Raven's @Home, in the Mac Anu Mercenary district. Yata will explain it all."
