GW 2 is a long way off yet. They aren't even taking about CB hitting until the end of 08' and that is IF everything moves along as scheduled....which never happens in game development.

Not sure, there have been some estimates now from 100,000 to 2 million. Since there are 4 games now some areas are dead. I PvP a lot and there are always people looking for a good fight.

Yeah, Factions is pretty much dead. It's hard to find any parties for hard mode, even at peak times.

Cool, then I might get some of the other games in the series. Last time I heard, GW2 was scheduled for the beginning of 08', so I was just going to wait until it came out. But since it seems that it won't be out for AT LEAST another year, I might get a few of the other games.

I wasn't around when the Closed Beta of GW1 was underway.

Will they limit the open beta testers to North America only? I'd like to try the GW2 beta, and it would be a good way to invite my friend to try GW too...

Well what people said during the last BETA was that they'll choose people with decent computer specs, and then choose people with lower computer specs, to see how the game does there. I don't think they'll limit it to NA players only.
