You have to do special Memo quests to get them, they're about a 1% chance for most of the quests.

The best way to get them is to do the 'hard' Memo quests that have a high chance of giving them, HR81+ Volganos has a high chance of giving one set of Memo and Silver Rathalos + Azure Rathalos has a high chance of giving the other IIRC.

Awesome guide, I got everything working but...one thing's wrong.

I can't see the Japanese writing. Its bad enough its in a strange (To me) language, but I can't even see it at all! On the start up screen (The launcher), the worlds/areas are just named "????????", so I've been guessing for that. The text in game is just...nothingness. I've downloaded two things (XP Japanese Pack and a Japanese Font file) and nothing seems to work. I went into Language and Region Settings and everything seems to be working (Asia files downloaded and enabled).

Can anyone tell me whats wrong?

Ok... I'm trying to sign up but it keeps giving me this error that my hiragana "stroke" is not corrent or MAX or something. I don't understand... the guide doesn't really say how to actually MAKE one, just TO make one. Even the example on the page itself won't be accepted...

Edit: I figured out how. Can't make a name with only vowels >_< (glad my name in it only uses n, which was on the wiki page...)

Now I'm stuck with something else though... I did every step and followed it but now... Now when I try to "log on" in the actual game, it loads up to 100% then I get this error saying "Monster Hunter Frontier online *japanese*. I'm not really good with japanese when I can't copypasta (I'm super noob... BUT I'M TRYING TO LEARN) and so far I can only figure out the first couple symbols... の利 the one afterwards I haven't a clue. Can't find it in anything... so much easier if I could copypasta...

Super eddit. Turns out It was the actual "accepting free trial" and then the date one, but I had to restart MHF to actually have it notice I changed the time.

I need the alt-codes for the symbols though, cause I want to name my character but it has to be in japanese...

Sigh, I finally get in the game and it then realise just how hopeless it seems. I can't understand a thing... (duh >_<) it's so overwhelming... no way i'd be able to do this alone...
