I've managed to install MHFO now, and I've configured my VPN as well. AKAI SAKAI was it?

Anyway, when I try and log into a server it comes with this error message:



I think it might be my username or password is incorrect, but I'm pretty sure I did it correct... any advice?

It says invalid ID.

The login is EXTREMELY picky about capital letters, if your username is "NanikorE", nothing but "NanikorE" will work. I sometimes forget to capitalize the first letter in my username and get that error all the time.

Can someone please tell me some stuff to do with the game? I bought a pretty nooby GS, but once I initiated a quest I had some random armour on and a different weapon... why?

Also, can someone explain how the quest system works this time around? It was simple in MHF2 but it's a bit different this time...

That was the tutorial. I haven't played today >< Had to do many things and soon I'll be watching a movie. Talk to the yellow girl, there are 3 sections. Top is tutorials, the 2nd option is the quest selection which is what you want. Then more options appear. These are locations, you can only go to jungle (密林) and desert (砂漠).

We gotta start making a guide thread =3 But what guide should I make? =/

The Best is to make a guide to getting used to the mechanics of the game. Once you know those you can do almost anything.

Is there any way I could use a PS2 controller to play? It's really strange with a keyboard.

Yeah if you've got the adapter. I have it and I use my PS2 controller. It's a lot better.

Welp, finally finished my hunter rank up quest, here's a pic and a story:

Think this was my fifth attempt at killing it with a group. It started out alright, a five bomb trap including two G bombs was awesome, although almost didn't go off. Then things started to take a turn for the worse, when no one would set off a dragon bomb in its mouth. Also, it kept getting knocked down before it fired off its plasma shot (a lvl 2 siege dart into its gaping butt is a good thing).

Also, one of the bowgun users was aiming at the wrong area. With bosses like this guy, there's only two spots to aim for. The head or, if you have penetration rounds, its back side (the bullet will go through the armor and hit the weak spot). So I reminded her to aim for the head and things went back to normal-ish.

The final part of the fight was epic. Over 30+ ballista rounds shot in its face, 3 cannon shots, and the drill to the back-side. Then the dual blader went to work on one of its legs while me and one of the other bowgunners sat on the little shooting platform on the way up the wall. Darts and bullets and stuff flying everywhere, it getting up and being knocked down again, glorious!

I think this was my total amount of ammo used up:

40+ lvl 2 siege darts
13 lvl 1 siege darts
9 lvl 2 explosive darts
99 lvl 2 normal darts
30-ish lvl 3 normal darts
50 lvl 2 penetration darts
40-ish lvl 1 penetration darts
and played an attack flute around 8 times, breaking one of them

Edit: Forgot to say, I will be moving to the advanced server now once I hit rank 31. I'll try to figure out how to join you guys if you're having trouble with somethin when I move over. I know it involves the very last server

k my older bro is gonna pay for me like is it i pay once and have to pay again? or is it like i pay once and thats it or is it like i pay once and have to pay again but i still get lv or dont get to lv hr and do good hunts but just cant do like other stuff
