Owned =O Man, there are a lot of monsters I really need to fight since I feel kind of behind in armour and weapons ._.

EDIT: Someone mind making a guide on the chat shortcuts? I'm scared to be talking like an idiot XP And I never remember which is which ._.

ok i want to make kutku armour, ive killed kutku a few times and ive probably got enough kutku stuff for maybe 1 or 2 pieces of the armour, i just need to get the last item and i think its an anteka horn from anteka, only in the snow mountains. At the moment im HR5 and i cant go to the snow moutains, im not sure when i can, but some of the missions i gotta be HR11. the missions that can be cleared i dont have access to the snow mountains so is there another way of getting them.

also im finding it hard to get the kutku scales, they're more harder to find then it used to be.

this game is just so good, but so hard. ive played the ps2 version and found it hard, but this game completely beats ps2 versions difficulty.

The game is pretty party oriented ._. Then again, they made it very easy to find a group to play with. I think you can buy kut ku scales at the very right, beneath the blacksmiths.

Comparing PS2 version to this version is kinda silly considering you're fighting Online versions, which are meant to be fought with 4 people.

ex: I can solo Lao no problem in MH2, I can kill him before he gets more than his head into the door with the Deadly Battle Axe, but in MHFO I can't even come close to killing him solo. Can't even repel.

As Masaka said, if you're talking about the Offline PS2 creatures, you're dead-on: These are geared for team battles and have significantly more "everything".

If you're talking about the Online versions, then you are mistaken. The ones prior to HR30 that I have fought so far are pretty much the same as the PS2 Pre-HR13 variants. They're arguably weaker, in fact, due to the new special attacks we now have for some of our weapons in MH:FO and the fact that equipment is MUCH easier to get than in the PS2 counterpart, and much stronger in the early levels than the pre-HR13 gear in MH PS2.

When talking about post-HR13 PS2 Online, these things are pushovers. That was "Hard Mode", and all the creatures got even BIGGER buffs. Trying to solo a post-HR13 Rathian was something only extremely skilled veterans could account for (thankfully, I was one of them). Meleeing Fatalis was consider suicide or non-productive (I could melee Fatalis with some degree of success without dying half the time, but I was obviously a hinderance by consequence of my weapon) as the most efficient, sometimes the ONLY, way to beat him was with 2-3 people using Bowguns with 99 Cluster 2s.

This game is incredibly easy by comparison. It's hard adjusting to the new recipies and areas, and some items like Herbs are not readily available, but atleast items necessary to solo are pretty easy to hoard.
