Hey, are there any dexless bandits here on Broa? I'm making a new character to cut into the boredom of training my assasin, and I was thinking of starting a dexless bandit. I have about 20m cash, a 10 att wg and a clean maple sheild to work with. What should I buy? What equips should I use from 1-35? Are dexless dits hard to train from 1-35 when I get a new weapon?
Thanks if you can help.

The reason that DEXless bandits suck is because having pure-LUK isn't as beneficial as a pure-LUK sin because bandit's damage is based on LUK, DEX, and a bit of STR (Someone fill me in if STR isn't included at all) while lucky 7 is purely based on LUK. If you do end up going through with this, you can go pure-LUK for a while, then get 35 STR for the DEX-less dagger called the 'Fan' at level 65.

I would suggest what I did on my Bandit, it is easily one of the best options. Starting out Dexless, so you get the advantage in earlier levels. For Korean Fan, and Maple Wagner. And in your later levels converting to Low-Dex or High Dex. I went Low-Dex since by the time I started to convert I had enough money to buy dex equips. I was also able to equip the level 50 dagger by level 56ish. The money thing was a bigger thing for me, I started out with not so much money on Bandit, you could afford somewhat decent equips with what you have right now. You easily have high damage for not too much money, taking advantage of your level/gear. I would also recommend going Bandit-sin rather then Pure Bandit as I did, since you don't have many equip options for the double stab build. And as BoomThunda said, you can still have decent damage while using a Garnier throughout your levels 'till you get a hold of a Maple Claw. |

Use the 20m, buy some steelys or tobis, get a garnier and make it+ 7. Go sindit road till about level 37. At level 37 you should have level 21 SB assuming your going to go 21 sb, then dagger mastery first. Once you get to 37, you'll have lots of fun with SB since i power leveled from 37-45 in like 4 days since SB WAS so badass. Btw, go full LUK too, add dex AFTER level 45-ish. Since shinkita sucks bongos, it's so slow.
But really, I had a level 94 LUK Bandit, and I gave up on it. If aything go STR bandit. It' looks cooler, and when you level form 70-100, your going to use ME most of the time. So your dagger damage won't have much effect. I would SO go back to my STR bandit, everything is 10x cheaper and it's easier to get your daggers. LUK is so over rated. |
