I did like it when I first bought it but I downloaded the game gunz before that when there was only a few hackers.
So I had to unistall FFXI and stop my subscription of course I messed up my subscription I never canceled it so I charged back my money.
I was a complete idiot at computers at that time.

I then downloaded and played WoW my friend let me use his account, I created a new character on it and everything.
It was so gay and boring I got to level 14 as a blood elf mage.
When I first joined and created my account there was 1 other character there, we were all alone.

Then I remember when I joined FFXI there were alot of players there some high levels also, who helped.

So should I go back to FFXI? Is it still a great game?
Also I'm going to buy the game again, with a expansion pack or what ever what expansion pack should I buy with it?

What are some important changes/updates or anything at all that I should know about?

EDIT2: What server should I play on?

Hmm well Sylph server I would recommend, Wehen did u last play, there are lots of expansions and just hmm iono unles u say when u left

Ah okay so about half as long as I was gone for. (I was gone for 3 yrs) pretty much the newest thing is the expansions and the classes. There are regions that are new but you won't touch them until you are in your 40s if not 50-60s. (Depends if the deserts west of Bastok where there when you left). The empress ring is also probably new and GODLY it is a Conquer Point item and will help leveling a huge amount. U buy it for 1000CP i believe and then you can use it 7 times before recharging (100 per charge so when completely dead costs 700 CP) It can be used once every 16 hours and gives you 150% exp for a total extra of 1000exp. So in the time you would normally get 2000exp you get 3000exp. Once you have used i t for the 3 hrs or 1000exp you must wait 16hrs before using it again. (U can only have one of these or anything similar to it) I love this, I used it with my bst this last month and got from lvl 1-16 in a week. It would take me about 2hrs to get a level max when it was on.

Yeah, there are more players on Sylph, but I would suggest playing on another server till some of them get their payments in check. http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/ would be a good site to check the classes.

These are the websites i use the most. For going back to the game commands is very important to remember. I had to look at it for a qhile before remembering how to play fully. As well allakhazam is a great website for information.

Thanks, is it possible to use a logitech Controller? and if it is possible does it make it easier?

I don't remember the controls that at all lol a year and a half ago was a long time
They shouldn't be that hard though right...?
