I used to play maplestory, but quit because i was tired of everywhere i went there being hackers. I was thinking about coming back, so i wanted to know is it still full of hackers?

Yes. But what more can you expect from a free online game with crappy GM's and horrible customer service? Can't expect too much...

Wow, have you been under a rock for the last few months? Hackers are on the rise now, but they are still very few.

Hackers? Ehmmm, not that many. But since alot of them just bott over and puit AUTO CC. If you enter a map, and then you get the whole map to yourself =)

Ima have to agree with ya there. You get what ya pay for. That being said, from my experience I have seen a few hackers here and there but, in the training spot that I go to I don't see any.

It's like the hackers are training at places that people don't usually train (or come around)

But you'll definately see some. lol

My point is that there SHOULDN'T be ANY hackers. P E R I O D. But there are. And because MS is considered a "free" mmorpg, I don't hold any high expectations for Wizet/Nexon/MS.

And yes, I have been away from the game for roughly 10 months. I left because of the hacker issue and came back for 4th job. (And because LOTRO got boring...) Nevertheless, hackers are still present... few, but present.

dont know which game you are playing then ^^

but there is a difference in the hacker population compared to before. around half a year ago even maps like fog were crowded with hackers which went in and vacced everything visible for everyone ... now its better because the gms started to ban now

i just started playing again but im in ems and i can say there are still the odd few hackers here and there but its mainly the noob maps i thought gms had a report function in the game?

Well since the last gameguard update no one can really hack for a while so right now it should be all good for a while
