How about i just end it? ive played both.
Starting with FFXI.
FFXI is very slow paced in the beginning, infact its very competitive and..grindy expect to die alot because the game forces you to play a race fit for that class or else the downside? you die,Alot. And lose Tons of exp. at some point i couldnt even level i'd grind all the way up to the last kill and die..it also causes frustration because you kill 2 things then you must wait 3-5mins to heal and do it all over again.
Afterwards..around lvl 10 you're FORCED to join a party to even level right, some people dislike soloing even tho its a ffxi genre they should offer some solo capabilities. Alot of people love to take it solo as i previously stated.
Mainly afterwards FF XI Doesn't have much more to offer than WoW maybe 1 or 2 extra features but those aren't even that great and I'm not trying to sound biased.
The community there is a bit..DEAD there is usually no one is on and if they are its probably a bunch of people from japan who are on when you sleep,i find this disappointing also because i had to constantly change servers to find one with a active populace(i didnt).
World of warcraft.
WoW isnt really hard its a pretty easy game, you can solo or party(dugeons,Elite monsters,Party quests) and what not. People complain that WoW is generic alot, well you idiots all games are generic. WoW doesnt offer anything new but it does a good *** job of making thoes so called "old,Used" Game features new.
There isn't much grind other than the fact if your Farming a item or something since u get bonus exp for when you're logged off or in a tavern chatting.
The community is WoW is usually contradicted for kids, well its not. It depends on the server you play not the faction. i.E i rolled on a Role playing server i rarely ran into those "Assholes" or "Kids" in alliance sure there was douches and jocks who thought they were better than you,but isn't that what Ignore is for?
So please before you can contradict a game have facts.
Dont be a Noob..
