If you smelt gold into bars does it give you crafting experiance?
~ Also what do you do with a broken pickaxe? How do you fix it?
~ Figured out the broken thing, you take it to some dwarf in the dwarf mine

smelting has nothing to do with crafting. and if your pickhead fell off, all you do is combine em both and tada. if its broken, idk. think you have to hammer it but dont know really.

I think you go to lumbrige, go to the axe guy, and I think he will fix it for like 20 coins. But, I know you can do axes, but not shure on pikaxes, but it does not hurt to try

When you make gold bars, I think that either the xp is split between smithing and crafting, or that you can only make things that give crafting xp, and only the bars give smithing.

the better pickaxe the more it cost to reapair :P
