Party based leveling is not for everyone, some people like to solo, and that's why Blizzard also included group quests for the people who actually want to party, not saying that you cant party to finish quests that are solo-able, but Blizzard made the game relatively solo-able for anyone who likes to play the game alone.
Granted, there are some idiots in the game, but which MMORPG doesn't? Those are usually ignored, when you ask a question generally there will be help. Giving stuff if you are a beginner? WoW doesn't work like that unless it's just simple things like food/water, the items come fairly easily and they scale pretty well per level, you do not need any "blue" or "epic" items to level your class to 70.
Weakness to a certain job/weapon ... that's basically Class countering in WoW. All that block, evade, counter, parry is all included in WoW, I don't know what you're talking about. By 2x attack I'm guessing you mean hitting someone two times in a row, that is called Windfury or you use swords for an extra attack. If not, then youe 2x must mean critical hit, yes any class can have crit, Spell crit or Melee Crit. Only thing I see that you listed that WoW doesnt have is Weather / Current day affecting damage.
FFXI has the classy factor while WoW has the cool cartoony look, it never strived to look classy, it stayed true to its lore.
Chocobo raising? I guess that's just personal preference. The cool looking mounts you get in WoW makes up for it then. Ground Mounts / Epic Ground Mounts/ Flyers / Epic Flyers. I have all the epic flyers in game and the Netherdrake still gets a ton of attention.
WoW is a fairly easy -- game wise. But when it comes to raids, it IS all about teamwork, you won't survive without it. But other than that, the game is easily approachable, and it's not confusing, I see that as the downfall of FFXI, and that's why you see more players playing WoW than FFXI, easier to approach.
It's also not just standing there and watching what your guy does... unless you're a hunter, lol. Grind quests.. you can usually skip those because of the abundance of quests WoW offers.
And you asked someone for money, that does not go well on WoW, if you asked for 4k on WoW, you'd be laughed at, lots of people dont even have that money, they need 5k for an epic flyer training, and another 200 for the flyer itself.
Just my 2 cents, not a flame hope I didn't make any mistakes, still kind of early and I'm tired heh.
