to be honest, i dont see any AMV's, i just see some clips from game cut scenes/intros with someones favourite tracks plastered on top.

all of them are pretty bad, the halo one is mediocre since the music sort of fits what is going on.

when i watched these vids i honestly felt like ive seen them all before, and in truth i have. videos like this are so generic and mass produced.

i dont know why people do it but they always seem to build the video around the song, really i think it should be the other way round. people always seem to pick their pet songs and then just put them all over the vid and go "i mael amv" when really what you should be doing is make your own video then find some music which suits it and conveys whats going on.

also you should definately try to avoid using ONLY the games cut scenes and intros and whatever. i know its easier to do that but really all you are doing is recycling what someone else has done before you in a much better way.

this post isnt supposed to sound harsh, its just some friendly advice and my thoughts on your videos from what ive seen on the internet over the years.

definately keep making these and dont give up but try out new things and try to avoid making your videos 100% recycled footage. some is ok but when you post a whole bunch of videos and they all follow the exact same format its a bit... meh. i mean how long does it take to paste a music track over a ready made vid? not long.

one thing i will say though is this: well done for not using any linkin park or nightwish tracks. if you did that i would not be able to be held accountable for my actions.

i wasnt trying to sound harsh, but the internet does that, things always sound different when someone else reads them as opposed to when you type it out yourself. i was trying to give structured criticism and not just say "blah blah they all suck yadda yadda" y'know

Nah, i was just joking around, u'knowwhatimsaying. But i agree with you, most videos got the same music... its kinda weird actualy... so much out there and people tend to use rock everytime!!! Gosh i hate rock!
