World Of Warcraft has hit 10 milion subscribers

World of Warcraft’s Subscriber Definition

World of Warcraft subscribers include individuals who have paid a subscription fee or have an active prepaid card to play World of Warcraft, as well as those who have purchased the game and are within their free month of access. Internet Game Room players who have accessed the game over the last thirty days are also counted as subscribers. The above definition excludes all players under free promotional subscriptions, expired or cancelled subscriptions, and expired prepaid cards. Subscribers in licensees’ territories are defined along the same rules.

You know there's not 10 billion people in this world right? It's only about 6.64 billion. So 1/664 of the human population plays WoW =/

Those statistics are a little scary...

But you know, the human population is growing faster than people playing WoW... However I wouldn't expect little infants playing WoW either. Excluding all the kids under 11, I'd say, more people are beginning to start WoW once they get past age 11.
