Algus dashed around the corner of a pair of stone buildings and into a dark alleyway, the Magi Round Ups were becoming more frequent. "The king must be getting desperate" he said to himself. He heard footsteps come closer to the alleyway...

"Hey, where'd he go?" he heard a soldier ask. "He must've went this way!" another soldier replied, and they ran around the corner. "Alright, the coast is clear..." he said. "But just incase...." he walked the other way, heading towards the opposite end of the alleyway. Until he could feel a small body bump into him. What came after was even worse....

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKK!! !"

Algus plugged his ears until the shriek ended. "Thanks a lot, you gave away our position...." he said to the person, who he presumed to be a girl due to the high pitched shriek....

Kaiz sprinted down the stone hallways, and accidentally bumped into a man, he cursed under his breat has he got up, prepareing to run, but then he saw something in the mans eyes, the burden that all magic users had.

"Damnit, youve blown our cover" Was all the man said before he turned around and cursed, not at Kaiz, but at the group of soldiers behind him, Kaiz turned around, they were backed down into a corner, and infront of them were about 4 of the kings soldiers, Kaiz touched his weapon and it looked as if it was hot red, he lunged at one of the soldiers, the man parryed but his blade suddenly became a scorched black, makeing it rather brittle, Kaiz lunged once more, the man blocked it, but his blade snapped in half, Kaiz then spun around and slashed his sword in the air, createing a disc of fire wich set the soldier alight, the man screamed before his life was cut off by another slash, beheading him.

Lumi Vesper was so shocked by the four soldiers that an uncontrollable scream escaped her lips. She was then scolded, covering her mouth, her face growing red. She saw a boy coming out of nowhere, and taking down one of the enemies with ease.

"Let me amend my mistake by taking down one of these soldiers myself!" Lumi exclaimed, bringing her Vesper Staff out in front of her. "Dancing Spiral!"

One of the soldiers looked around cluelessly, waiting for something to occur. When nothing happened, he stepped forward, a small puddle of water forming as he did. Suddenly, a blast of water shot forth from the ground, sending the soldier in the air. He began screaming as more and more blasts of water shot up at him. Finally, after being spinned and tossed around in the air, the soldier came crashing down on the hard ground below.

"If you know what is good for you, the rest of you will leave, before the three of you finish you off," Lumi warned, the star on her staff shinning bright, and the crystal material on the battom fading from a light blue glow.

"I'm late for work!" Spica shouted, as she dashed across the street. But suddenly she stopped in front of a dark alleyway. She heard fighting, and voices, then she felt that someone used magic.
"Magic users?" She mumbled as she ran inside the alleyway. She saw 3 people being attacked by 2 soldiers, also noticing 2 other soldiers lying on the ground.
"Yaahhh!" Spica charged on the 2 soldiers, knocking both of them out, one with a spinning kick, and the other one with a simple punch.

Lumi noticed another girl coming out of nowhere. She easily took down her opponents with ease, ending the soldiers.

I just hope no more soldiers come.

She turned to the woman. It did not look like she was tired at all.

"Hi, my name is Lumi Vesper," She introduced. "Thank you for the help. Oh, and, sorry for screaming again. Well, that took care of them. Let's get out of here before we cause too much damage."

She looked at the four bodies on the ground. If they did not hide them soon, they would be in some trouble. She also hoped no more were coming. If they did, they would surely be in trouble. Not that they could not easily defeat them, but because too many dead or wounded bodies meant more people.

"Look out!" Algus shouted as a large number of soldiers attacked them from both sides. "We've been Pincer Attacked!" he shouted. As the enemies charged from behind, he spun around, chanting the incantations of a spell...

Howl, O raging winds and cleave my enemies with your blade....Tempest!

The soldiers were caught in the tempest and thrown into the air, as Algus cast another spell...

Fireball!

The soldiers were barraged with fireballs and burnt to a crisp. Their dead bodies hitting the ground with loud clanking noises.

"Hahh!" He heard a soldier cry from behind him, Algus quickly turned around, slicing him in the eyes with his dagger. He then set his dagger on fire...

Pheonix Edge!

The soldier was thrown into the air, hitting another soldier when he landed, setting the other soldier on fire. He took a moment to catch his breath, but then he heard battle cries from behind him once more....

"I'm Spica." Spica answered.

"Let's get out of here before we cause too much damage." the girl said.

"Wait." Spica said, then she approached the 3 unconscious soldier, while opening a bottle of water.

Water's Blessing

Spica poured water on the 3 unconcious soldiers, healing some of their wounds. She then walked towards the beheaded soldier and gave a short prayer for him.

"Let's go..." Spica said as she walks back to where Lumi is.

Lumi sighed as she noticed Algus fighting off some enemies. She pointed to him, eying Spica.

"That person who is surrounded with enemies is called Algus," She then brought her eyes back to him. "I'll help you out. Hmm, it sure is windy today. How 'bout going for a little ride, soldiers? Awakening Waltz!"

A powerful wind engulfed a group of soldiers surrounding Algus. They were thrown in the air, tossed on the other side, giving Algus an exit. Unfortunatly, there were too many to actually kill them, just slightly injure them from the fall.

"Hurry, get out of there before they completly surround you again!" Lumi exclaimed. "Now for some soldiers to get a little wet. Dancing Spiral!"

Water again sprouted from the ground and knocked the soldiers high into the air. However, since there were multiple enemies this time, the water faded away quicker this time. She could feel her strength going, her spells becoming harder to control with all the enemies around now.

"Um, some help would by nice," She blushed a bit. "I'm more of a healer and distraction than a fighter, sorry. Multiple enemies aren't my thing."
