Algus ran towards Lumi, helping her to her feet. "Lumi! Thank goodness you're alright!" Algus exclaimed, hugging her. He then noticed his other young travelling companion. He went to her side and noticed he was unconcious...again. He quickly prepared a spell...

Roots of all creation, grant us the breath of life! Healing Breeze!

A warm, soothing breeze enveloped the group, recovering moderate wounds. "Hopefully that will help her a bit." He kneeled down beside her, checking her pulse for any abnormalities. "Hmm, I don't think I ever got her name" He turned to Lumi. "Did you ever get her name?" he asked. He then noticed the girl stirring as her head rose from the ground. "Ahh you're awake...." he said. "We should get going, we're already behind schedule due to that incident with Judas..." Suddenly, he heard a rather loud shriek from around the corner. He unsheathed his sword as a large, shadowy creature came from around the east corner....

Lumi felt Algus's warm embrace, trying to hold back the never-ending tears that streamed against her smooth cheecks. Backing away so that he may examine the girl, she heard him ask her what the girl's name was.

"Oh, that is Spica," Lumi introduced. "I met her while we were fighting those soldiers back awhile ago. I guess you did not get a chance to meet everyone who was helping, heh."

She saw him have a satisfy look as he noticed Spica awakening slowly. Then she felt the cold presence of another being, and whuled her head around just in time to see someone (or something) growing closer and closer.

((OOC: Sorry, I did not know what the thing was coming out of nowhere, so I ended it a little like you, without mentioning it ;p ))

((OOC: Spica wasn't unconscious... and she has no wounds... but whatever. I'll just go along with you guys :P))

Spica awoke, her vision was still blurry. She took a glance at Lumi, then noticed someone else was there.
"You're okay!" Spica sat up with a smile as she realize that it was Algus. She suddenly felt that something was wrong. The pain on her body was gone except on her left arm. After realizing that, Spica's eyes widened then quickly looked at her left arm, but there was nothing... at least nothing yet... Spica glanced back at the two who were wondering what's wrong.

"Uhh... Y-Yeah we should get out of here now." Spica said, changing the subject, as she took out bandages from her pocket and started covering it all over her left arm. Spica stopped at a moment after feeling another presence nearby. She stood up and hurried with the bandages as she feels the presence getting nearer and nearer.

The shadowy creature let out a blood curdling roar. Algus unsheathed his sword, still in disbelief. I've never seen this species before...Algus thought. He rushed towards the creature, swinging his sword heavily. "What!?" Algus exclaimed as hios sword went right through the enemy. It let out another roar and dispersed. Algus breathed heavily, ready to sheath his sword before a shadowy cloud rushed towards him. "Huh!?" he said as he gathered energy into his sword.

Forcefield!

A burst of energy was released from his sword, pushing the shadow back. The shadow reformed into the creature as he prepared a spell.

Howl, O raging winds, and cleave my enemies with your blade! Tempest!

The wind storm ravaged the beast as it let out a screech of pain before dispersing once more. "This creature can only be hurt by magic! One of us will have to distract it while the rest of us cast spells on it!" he said while concentrating energy into his sword.

Forcefield!

The shadow was pushed back again, reforming into a beast. "We need to defeat this thing soon...."

Lumi nodded when Algus asked for someone to distract the beast.

"Right, I guess that is my cue," Lumi thought as she raced forward. "After all, distractions, healing, escape, and even evasion tactics are my specialty."

Her silvery blue hair trailled behind her as she spotted the shadowy creatue. Whipping out her Vesper Wand, she got ready to cast, closing her grayish green eyes to arrange a spell.

"By thou devine powers, allow this being to rage a storm oh so friece, my fellow, ambitious spirit of wind," Lumi began chanting under her breath. "Let us join hand in hand as we lure our shadowy conspirator away from those that are allies. Now, let us dance to the melody of the wind! Awakening Waltz!"

A vicious bellow of wind whurled around the shadowy beast, which tried to fade from its spot, yet was bound in position. Releasing a terrifying cry, both malicious and sorrowful, the whirlwind spiralled up towards the ceiling, its sharp claws striking the unknown being as it began to lose its grip on it. With a satisfied smirk, Lumi turned around to the others with joy. Just then, instead of collapsing to the ground with an ultimately crushing blow, the creature sprung forth, trying to attack Lumi.

"Do not worry about me!" Lumi commanded as she raced around in a circular motion. "I will distract it, just as I said I would! Just make sure to destroy this 'thing' before I am! Also, it seems to be slowing down! This might be a strike of luck!"

((OOC: I might post more on the weekends, but right now, a lot of business with my homework :x

By the way, I wanted the text to be small, as though she was muttering the spell under her breath ))

Algus nodded at Lumi. "Time for a little experiment!" Algus shouted, preparing a spell.

Another wind storm ravaged the best as Akgus prepared another spell.

Fireball!

A barrage of fireballs became intertwined with the tempest he just created, creating a fiery storm.

Flare Tornado!!!

The fiery tornado spun along the ground, firing rocks, bricks and just about anything else at the beast. Exhausted, Algus sat for a moment to catch his breath. "It's your turn, Spica!"

((Keep in mind that if you want to learn a new skill/spell, there are still limitations. You can only have 10 of each, but if you wantr to learn more than 10 spells, you can reduce the max number of skills by however many extyra spells you want, and vice versa for skills.))

((OOC: I thought we could only learn up to eight, and as for skills, well, my character only has one, (and is that even a skill? Maybe "flying" is considered a skill...) but I also saw that in the beginning post, it says four... :x just saying... ))

Spica answered Algus with a nod and started running towards the creature. Suddenly, she stopped midway.
"Wait a minute... I don't know any other attack spells..." Spica stared at the creature then at Algus.
"I have to think fast. It won't be long before..." Spica said, looking at her left arm, then she noticed the water on the floor.
"That's it!" Spica kicked the murky waters sideways, making it splash. The water stopped and slowly froze in midair until they became thin bolts of ice...

Ice Needles

Spica sends the bolts of ice to the creature. One by one, the bolts hit the creature, pinning it to the wall. The creature struggled to get out but then Spica prepared for another attack. Water flow up to Spica's right arm, slowly freezing, turning into an ice gauntlet. Spica leaps towards the creature...

Dragon's Impact

Spica smashed the creature, the ice gauntlet exploded upon impact, dust filled the whole place. As the dust clears, the whole place was covered in ice, the wall completely obliterated, and the mysterious creature frozen. Spica kneeled down on the floor panting, as she watches the frozen creature slowly shattering down to the ground...

Lumi sighed with relief as she saw the creature shatter into small, crystallic pieces of ice. She ran over to Algus and Spica, relieved. She noticed she was also out of breathe, and as soon as she reached them, placed her shaking fingers upon her knees, breathing in deeply. When she finally was able to speak, she allowed her mouth to fling open.

"That was a good job, you two," Lumi managed to say, realizing she still was having problems breathing and her heart was still pounding. "I think we can get out of here now, right? What do you think, Algus?"

"I don't think so, look!" Algus said. The monster broke from the ice and rematerialized. Suddenly, the creature let out a screech of pain as the shadows disintegrated, leaving behind....a human body!? Algus rushed over to the man's body. The man was gasping for breath. "Are you okay??" Algus asked frantically. The man tilted his head and began to speak.

"Researchers....capital......experiments......peop le into.....monsters.....uagh!" The man's head tilted back and became limp as he stopped breathing. "He's dead...." Algus said, disheartened. "Come on, let's go..." he said to the others. They exited the sewers into the plains outside the city.

"Finally!" he heard Lumi shout with glee. Algus laughed at the sight. He had never seen Lumi so happy. She had changed a lot since that day, four years ago...

"C'mon!" Lumi shouted to Algus as he snapped out of his daze. "You sure look happy." he said to her. "We need to head south to the village of Ahm. Once we're there, we need to plan our next move. Is everyone ready?" he said, smiling warmly.
