4Story is the closest game I've ever played to WoW. I'd say you're right to try it.

RF is the most similar to WoW...(excluding that its grind is almost 10x more...)
Its got PVP and everything...except battlegrounds. If your for MVP...try Lord of The Rings Online...has greatly improved since its release. Or you can wait like some of us for the Mabinogi Open Beta.

Uhhhhh.. wtf?
I have played both, and WoW is in no way good PvP. It takes little skill to do well. Gear makes a huge difference in WoW. All you do in WoW is grind for uber gear, then mindlessly click skills until the undergeared people drop. I used to PvP in WoW with a coffee in one hand, while the other pwned nubs. Don't even get me started on all the stupid UI addons that tell you your cooldowns, what the other players are casting, etc. Stupid WoW addons would be considered hacks in any other mmo. WTF is with them. By the time you mod up your WoW you don't even have to play or think. PvP in GW does not require good items. Items barely give you an edge at all. Your skill selection, and use of those skills takes planning, and knowledge of the game. If you want to be successful in GW PvP you need to know about what each skill does, and what skills you can use to nullify and defeat your opponent. The amount of skills you can select for your skill bar is limited so you must be creative if you want to win. Any way, I am tired of both games right now (and don't play either right now)... but man.... WoW is NOT good PvP.... someday people will learn... and demand more from Blizzard!!! hehe |

Shiaya, Perfect World, Archlord, Trickster... Lunia
You are pretty unlucky though... You tried all the crap... You could also try Shadowbane it has most probly the best pvp in a f2p game...

What is the difference between PVP, P2P, and BFP or whatever other ones i'm seeing? I'm looking for the same PVP (or whatever) characteristics as the WoW battlegrounds -- more a fan of that than world pvp (perhaps THIS is P2P?) Legend of Ares, incidentally has the option of click to move AND keyboard movement, but yes, click to move is just plain wrong. I'm currently trying out Rappelz... despite having a click to move and a few obvious things missing from the interface (like being able to determine what level other player characters are...) it isn't that bad. |

P2P - Pay to play. This is a game that you pay a monthly fee to play just like WoW B2P - Buy to play. You buy the cd in the store/online. After that it's free to play for life. Guild Wars is like this. F2P - Free to play. You pay nothing to download and play these games. 99.9% of the time there is a cash shop that you can purchase in game items for real cash. |

yea.. its only like wow in terms of Game Interface set up. The Gameplay is WAAAAY different. First of All its not the same movement like wow and its just clicking and killing and using abilites not using strategy to kill stuff.
