Default /cry, good bye WoW....

Well.... World of is great ,but the 15 bucks a month kinda adds up. so im trying to find a good free mmorpg with Amazing PvP, A not uberly high level cap. i also hate Click to move games because they take absolutley no skill AT ALL. for example Legend of Ares, its just:
* click, special ability , kill, die, yay 1 honor point!*

and PvP should take some strategy not just clicking the mouse a billion times untill target dies. this is why i enjoy WoW because its not just a grind fest, it has good PvP ( which takes skill, mind you) , good endgame content and amazing graphics ( not a nececity but liked). SO i basacly want:

Good PvP
Free
Not a total Grindfest
Ok graphics ( not necicary but i dont wna play a game with runescape like graphics )

and if all else fails a WOW substitute

ive asked b4 for a wow subsitute and have tried:

9 dragons
Last chaos
12-sky
Legend of Ares
2 moons
Dungeon Runners
Rakion ( nothing like a regular mmorpg or anything i dont know why that person recomended it).

im currently DL/trying

Mythos
4 story
RYL 2
Fury Online
RF online
Zu online

THANKS!

WoW pvp is more based on who grinds more and who has the better gear than skill, which I found really unimpressive.

The best PvP out there is Guild wars (it is team based though, no 1v1), best open world PvP is probably shadowbane.

Wth, how are you trying 4 Story? is that the Korean server or something?

Also let me know what you think of RF Online. I tried it before and didn't like it, but kept hearing good things about the chip wars

I wanna see what an ex-WoW player thinks of RF, because I really liked WoW too

Also, don't expect anything special from Zu or RYL2. I personally didn't find it that great. They were decent

Eh not really. It took me about a month ( and usually on play on weekends.) to get full level 70 Season 1 epic gear. not much of a grindfest. Gear does matter, and i think you might have played it Pre-BC which i havent, so maby the way you saw it might be diffent. but a crappy arena team could get bout 200 points a week for playing 10, 2 minute games a week. yea. i dont think thats much of a grindfest.

As for skill, GW does not match WoW in terms of skill. your arena team and people you group with for PvP is totaly your own stategy and what skills to use are also yours to choose. a wise shaman isnt able to throw out every totem he can , but chooses the right totem at the right time.

Wth, your Korean? named muhamed??

anyways yeah, that's as far as I ever got on RF
I walked around as the robot, then attacked stuff, then uninstalled

If you have more patience than me and can give a proper review, I'd appreciate it :P

Sorry I can't help you with any game suggestions though, because all games right now are shit, and the good ones that are coming out will take a while

Guild Wars (I quit because of the lack of skill updates making the game predictable mind you) required significantly more skill than WoW. While there is strategy in deciding on the teams skills in GW, proper utilization of your skills, movement and placement of your character, equipment switching, interuption, shutdown, pressuring, spiking, and proper tactics make the difference between average teams and good teams. It isn't like you had your 8 skills, and clicked 1 through 8 then repeated...

While WoW does have some nice PvP features (FvF) the balance of the classes and the skill / gear factor made it less entertaining. Shadowbanes open world PvP > WoW's PvP.

That makes me wanna give Shadowbane another chance, though it was really confusing when I tried to play

Plus the graphics were an eye-sore

Guild wars? People say it's a good pvp game though it's p2p and I've never played it so I need someone else to back up the good pvp in guild wars.

Also a WoW substitute could be talisman online. Yet again I haven't tried it but the community thinks it's like WoW and I think thats more then enough reason to atleast give it a go.

It isn't P2P, it is B2P.

Pay once, play for life.
I didn't like Talisman, found it to be a generic grinder.
