The same thing happened with Windows Vista, Longhorn prototypes and video clips popped up everywhere. Now it's happening to Microsoft's latest, and arguably worst, incarnation of it's popular suite of operating systems. Go Windows 7.

If they're releasing a new OS this way instead of updating Vista, that means there should be some massive changes.

I'm waiting until the first Service Pack, at least.

i think this is just a better, faster version of vista, they're just trying to correct the faults they had with vista.

yeah its got that 6xxxxxxxxxxxxxx thing which i hear is what vista uses.

So they made a version of vista without the glitches, bugs, random nudity pop ups even though you don't have any virusses and uses Net Nanny? xD

This one will be worth getting i think... I hope it's more worth of my money then the vista pack >.> Ended up getting a transformation pack for the skins...

Let's face it - it's based off Vista, with a few massive updates. They probably just happen to be things that Vista's own UAC won't let Windows Update change, so they have to release it as a new OS.
