Default Good Music you won't hear on the radio.

Title says it all. Post it, talk about it, do whatever. Sick to death of shit bands getting recognition whilst good music doesn't. Music that isn't the same ****ing power chords OVER AND OVER.

Right, to kick it off, my favourite band ever. Nearly as original as Primus or Mr. Bungle but way easier to get into . Estradasphere.

http://myspace.com/estradasphere. Just go to the page and you'll hear the music straight away. Don't need to sign up for Myspace. The first song you hear is the first song you'll want to listen to .

All of Sublimes music. They play 3 of the 50+ songs, and I love almost all of them.

You should make this the official Indie thread.

But, just before you do that, I'd make sure the word Indie doesn't get twisted like it has oh so often in the past. People seem to morph into a genre of music with a specific sound, when that's incorrect. Indie just means that the music is produced with out help of mass record labels.

Just about every band I listen to excluding Weezer I have never heard on the radio. MY favorite being Cap'n Jazz, although they are defunct.

+10 for Bloc Party, -1000 for Billy Talent. Can you believe that band had the audacity to cover Fugazi?

Lmao. Wow. I don't care much for BT, because I only like a few of their songs.

But BP owns faces.

I forgot to do a plug for one of MY favorite bands...

Modern Life Is War.

Check them out, if you think you've got the balls for some harder stuff.
