If I'm correct, then it has some sort of genre or storyline similarities. Either than that, correct me please. I'm not too fond of both the series.

Torchwood was created by the Queen of England multiple of decades ago. The reason why she created Torchwood, cause she knew that with the Doctor's prescence there are other "unworldly" things out there. Torchwood was created to research and protect the motherland.

Later Torchwood was destroyed in the "War of the Machines" and a new Torchwood was created. They were a lot more secretive and manned by one of the Doctor's traveling partners, the immortal. They do the same thing but on a smaller scale.

Torchwood is an anagram for Doctor Who.

Oh God. I ****ing hate Torchwood. It makes me physically sick.

John ****ing Barrowman. He doesn't deserve to live. I should ban you all for mentioning such a horrific television show, fronted by a horrific excuse for a human.

to be honest theyre awesome shows. Both set in the same Universe n all of that, fighting against the same thing.

what gives you the right to talk about anyone like that murx?
