First of all, hello. I just found this forum today, and stumbled across this board, and this thread, and... heck, I'll get to the point.

I love Pokémon. I have some RP experience, in the Tibia RP Board under the name of Sarius Vanor if any of you are interested in looking it up. And I'd love to join in here, but there's one little problem...

...I haven't played Diamond or Pearl. >.<

Not because I don't want to, mind you. I've just not been able to, y'know, go buy them. Yet.

I was thinking if it would be alright to come in as a guy from Johto or Kanto, or Hoenn, even, that doesn't know, well, squat about Sinnoh.

If not, it's perfectly understandable, and I'll just have to enjoy the reading.

But... whadaya say? Think you can give me a shot?

[OOC: I usually do, just figured if I was going to make a whole OOC post... anyhow, here's the presentation. Oh, and thanks, it did help a lot!

Name: Ace Pade
Age: 17
Hometown: Floaroma. Sort of.
Years Training: 3, aproximately.

Description: Tall, not very musceled. Short black hair. He wears long-sleeved, one-colored shirts, black jeans and white sneakers. Will be ususally seen with a black coat, unless it's really hot. God knows why, but he always wears it. He carries his belongings in a black and white backpack with four pockets (main, smaller one on the front, two small laterals).

History Brief: He grew up in a small house near Floaroma, on route 205. It was there that he encountered his first partner, "Patchy" the Pachirisu, stuck in a hole which a few coins had fallen into, at the age of 12. After digging it out and giving it some food, the Pachirisu stuck around, becoming Ace's pet. A couple of years later, he decided to go out and seek fortune in the world, bidding his parents good bye, and heading out with Patchy.

Battle Style: Agressive.

The squirrel pokémon squeaked in agreement, moving quickly from one of Ace's shoulders to the other, and pulling on his hair.

"Ouch! Alright, I know what you want..." he said, rummaging through his pocket for the lens he'd just obtained. "...here. But don't break it, alright? It took me a whole day to get that one, so be careful."

Patchy took the item in both of his paws and lifted it, amused. Ace chuckled at the sight, remembering how it was he met Patchy in the first place. Guess it's true what they say; curiosity killed the meowth.

[EDIT: OOC: I figured I should give a little more info... they're in Veilstone. Reason being, that's where the Game Corner is, the place they've just left. And Patchy... he likes things. Shiny things, small things, pretty things, you know, just... things.]

"Hey Patchy, I dunno you, but I'm in the mood for some nice, relaxation time."

Patchy squeaked and jumped a bit. With the motion, the lens fell from his paws, and he dived to the ground to grab it.

"Woah, are you OK?"

Another squeak.

"Guess that's a yes." Ace said with a smile, as he picked up the squirrel and placed it back on his shoulder. "How about we head off to Pastoria to spend a few days on holiday?"

Star was feeding Eka some Pokémon food, and the movement of her tongue on Star's palm made her giggle. She noticed Rik approaching, all by himself.

"Sorry about that guys," Rik apologized as he grew closer. "Just doing a little extra research on Galactic activity in Pastoria City. As soon a Jib gets done stuffing his face, we can go."

"Great, we are all prepared, about to go to Pastoria City, and Jib has to be the slow one," Star thought suddenly. "I just hope he hurries up, or we may leave him."

"Hey, if we get some free time, why don't we visit the Great Marsh?" Star questioned with ethusiasm. "I heard there are some rare Pokémon there, including Croagunk, their mascot. It could be an oppurtunity to get some more Pokémon, and enjoy the cool weather. What do you guys think?"
