Fox News Coulmnist gets her Come-upance

Recently, a Fox News columnist, Cooper Lawrence criticized the game "Mass Effect" as being a sexually explicit game that treats women as objects of victor, prized for their bodies. She couldn't have gotten it more wrong. During a private interview, she was asked if she had ever played the game, replying with a laugh and a bold, "no." Of coarse, the gaming community was enraged.

To seek retribution, hundreds of gamers went to Amazon and started to rate Cooper Lawrence's book “The Cult of Perfection” lower than low. In most comment fields it read, "Oh, I didn't read the book, but I've heard rumors about the book being horrible."

She ultimately sees the point and decides to watch someone play the game for a short bit, realizing the trouble of her ways. She reported that someone had described the game to her as being a pornographic adventure to dominate women. Now, she has changed her view.

EA games contacted Fox News requesting a correction to the broadcast. Fox News has offered them TV time; however, it is unclear as to when or if EA will take up the offer.
