What is e-style? I'm going to explain it as well as I can at 3 in the morning.

My (Newly Edited) e-style guide

E-style is using mainly an automatic and revolver to defeat enemies.

E-style has more too it than just spraying everything. In order to use it effectively, you need:
1. a rifle, preferably a powerful one.
2. a set of revolvers, or a shotgun, whichever you prefer.
I recommend you use revo's, they are more accurate. (duh.)
You should also carry grenades, (FRAGS. not smoke....if you were wondering.) because players will often hide behind things to avoid being hit. To flush them out, throw a frag in his area and shoot him when he runs away from it. You can also throw a flash grenade and while they're stunned, run up close and shoot them.

1. To use this style effectively, you need to keep moving, at all times. (diving, not running) This is very important in e-style. Unless you are only taking on one person, no one else is around, and they aren't moving. Most likely they are utilizing cover, are afk, or are typing.
Say they are utilizing cover, then you should also grab some cover, and use it to your advantage. Throw a grenade at him, and gun him down if he runs. Use a sword if they get too close, either to block, to attack, or to run.

2. If your enemies get close, but not too close, pull out your revo's or shotty and pump some high damage shots in them. For long range use a rifle. BE SURE TO AIM. THIS IS CRUCIAL AND VERY IMPORTANT, AND ALSO THE KEY TO USING E-STYLE EFFECTIVELY. If you don't aim, you are simply spraying, and people don't like that. Plus it doesn't do a whole lot for you point-wise. If you are using a shotty, be sure to get pretty close. The closer you are, the more damage you will do with one, but the farther you are, the less effective it is.

3. You should try to develop a diving pattern that you can adapt to suit your current situation. What I mean is develop a patern in which you hit the keys, that you can change almost instantaneously if you are suddenly in a bad position. I can't really give you an example of what I do... it's kinda just muscle memory. But let's just say for example, your diving pattern is: dive forward, dive left, dive forward, dive right, turn left, and dive back(I am making this up on the fly, I doubt this would be effective). let's say you are being hit from behind when you are diving left. Immediately dive right and turn all the way around, and defend yourself, and try to get behind your attacker if possible. I hope that cleared things up a bit, if not let me know.

4. You can also use a hybrid of k-style and e-style to maximize results. There is a k-style guide stickied at the top of the page. Intertwining flash step and slash shot with e-style works pretty well, but try to experiment with things to find what works best for you. I sort of do a REALLY slow switch shot between a rifle and a set of sub-machine guns sometimes, which works well....until you need to reload. Try it if you feel adventurous.

5. Most players don't do this... but use the environment to your advantage. In other words, flip off walls that are nearby to confuse your enemy, have them lose sight of you, and/or get behind them. Then let them have it. For example, if you are fighting in the mansion behind the staircase, and you are up next to the staircase. Say you are being shot at, and can't dive to avoid it. Jump and flip off the staircase. Your enemies usually won't expect it, and may lose track of you for a second.

Remember: Just because you choose to e-style doesn't mean you shouldn't use a sword. In fact, I encourage you to use it if you are in close combat. It can really help you, especially if they have a gun out still.

I dont think flash grenades are bad. Just flash them, get up close and start spraying them with your gun.

I would also say to get a revolver, only get a machine gun if you have the space. Shotguns dont work well with long distance spraying.

Any pro should be able to do that 10 times in a row without screwing up.

P.S. getting banned for harrassment in GunZ at level 59 is not fun. So most of the things i say is by memory from like 1 year ago.
