I dont think the Intel mobo supports DDR2 1066. Someone can confirm it please.

The one you listed was my earlier choice to save money, but then we cut the monitor so I upgraded to this as it's more upgradeable for SLI and such.

Well, the RAM I recomended was for the model of mobo I thought you had, that "GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail" board.
While you are not always required to get the exact same speed of RAM for the mobo, doing so does ensure that it will work, and that it works at it's best speed.
Anyway, looking through mobos, this here looks like a good one:
