I'm a defender on Hades and i'm need some tips. One is my guy is too slow and when i face a Mage monster they deliver like 2k of damage per hit on my guy why is that?

Well, that is because you have low magic resist. But you don't need to worry about that now. Concentrate on developing your char; usually defenders pump up their constitution, to access ever better armors and axes, but you also have the possibility to focus on strength and use swords, which usually deal more damage. It depends on how you want to play your defender, although unless you have a really good sword with relatively low strength requirements, upping your strength may not be the best idea.
Skills to use: axe skill (or sword skill, as shown above), steelskin, back cut, maybe slight attack. Pain sharing is a nearly useless skill - a defender relies on his high hp, so using that hp to deal damage is - I think - simply stupid.
