Well, I have an idea for an online game that I want to make but there are a few problems:
1. I am only in my early teens and know nothing about programming. 2. I don't have enough money to buy an advance MMORPG maker. 3. Everything else I have tried has to many bugs or doesn't work. Can someone help me find a MMORPG maker. |

Well programming your going to need to know how to network or get someone else to do that for you.
RealmCrafter 2 will not be bad at all, in fact it will be capable of competing or beating wow's graphics using shaders above 2.0. So chances are RC is your most subtle choice here given your stated status of resources. The power of direct x 9 is in your hands with RC2. As for programming, I personally like c#. You can port over to the 360 with games you make in it, and its a windows based language to make windows based games, unless you use mac or Linux that require emulators to run windows games. Using XNA porting over to 360 isn't that hard. c++ I reckon its not the easiest but it is more powerful, just allot more messy in my opinion. Easier to make bugs when you don't want them. But you'll be allowed to port it over to other languages to support different application needs. As well, porting directly over to Macintosh and Linux. |
