Okay.. do this.
Take my original post and take out the cd-rom since you dont need, and keep the first mobo i suggested. You can hook up your cd-rom and hdd to the same ide cable and be fine. Do you have a retail OS such as windows xp? Or is it Oem? That psu might have issues running the c2d and a dx 10 card. thats why i said keep the rosewill i mentioned. |

Get the psu i suggested. Its a very good quality build, has all the latest cables needed to run anything, and has enough wattage and amps on the 12v rails to run the beefy video cards if you upgrade later. Some people get lucky, they get away with a crappy psu. Course most of them dont run anything that spectacular. However if your psu blows, it can take your entire system with it. When a psu blows, a few milliseconds, it will pretty much just shoot your 110 current through your system if your unlucky, thus destroying it. Most psu one do it, and some are built so if it does, it guards the components it's attached to. I cant force you to get that psu, i can only tell you i would be more comfortable if you did. |

Well I wouldn't want to overheat my computer and spend another $500. So I'll go with your idea and wish me luck
. Anyways I'll still have leftover parts for other computers. Probably sell my old computer to sister. The total is about $550 if I'm not mistaken.

Then you just about there. Acually, you are! Maybe a few bucks short on shipping but it shouldnt be a issue. This pc will play all the latest and greatest, and you WILL be able to play crysis with acceptable framerates for the system you have. But there is no mmorpg that you cant handle now, on max, save for maybe Vanguard Saga of Heroes, and unforseen conan. But all of which will be high settings at least with high fps. You should get no graphical lagg on mmorpgs, and aside from UT4, CoD4, and Crysis, on anything else. And only graphical lagg on those 3 i mentioned if you try to go too high on the settings. Otherwise anything out is in your ballpark. If you have ANY issues, or questions about building, ask here. I will help make sure you dont make any costly mistakes. |

Thanks mate. Anyways I'll probably buy the computer within a few months. Hopefully the price will go down by then. Oh and I found much cheaper memory.

Will a Intel Motherboard be better for C2D? Since I was looking at a Intel Motherboard http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...176&CatId=1533
