MacroMedia 5 Game Development

My daddy just bought me macromedia 5. The whole set. And before i download it.. Does it really create flash games? or java or whatever? I dont wanna download a 5GB program on my PC just to be dissapointed so yea, Please post and tel me! |

It creates flash games, but wait, 5? arn't they already on CS3.
And if its the whole set, doesnt it also include dreamweaver? And fireworks? and no, It cant create Java, for that you need netbeans and Java SE 6

Right. I don't remember if there was a studio version with Flash 5 but yes you can make games with it. The really big problem you have now is that the version you own is very outdated. It'll be difficult to create the sort of stuff that you'd see being made now.
I can't say it's a good start but you gotta start from somewhere. Oh and yes, as Firesnowball stated, it doesn't produce java games.
