Just by looking at the "poster" for the anime you can tell it's hentai, whether hardcore or softcore. Character designers don't add an enormous rack on a character for nothing. I would be interested in it if it didn't look like it revolved around some hentai scenes. Definitely an acquired taste that I don't have.

1) It's not hentai.
2) There's too much censorship, no where near the level of Elfen Lied.
3) There's no explicit sex scenes.
4) Nobody in this anime attempted sex.
5) If you want to categorize this anime, placed it together with Elfen Lied.
6) There's 6 of this 45 minutes OVA, making Mnemosyne a total span of 12 episodes.

What is this the first episode you're basing this from? Or from a trailer? There's no such thing as censorship in an anime, no one watches ANY show for anything to be censored. And if anything is censored there ARE explicit sex scenes, so you're contradicting yourself. I don't care if Elfen Lied is worse, I said it can be softcore for all I care, the underlying fact is that it has hentai shit in it. It looks tasteless.

I wasn't even bashing it at first. If hentai/ecchi is your thing, go for it, I'm just saying I'd be glad to watch it because it sounds interesting but it looks like it's at least softcore hentai.

Actually Anime censors the hell out of Boobs,AssCrack, and other goodies...For Example Air Gear puts pictures of crows around Boobs When they were naked........not having sex at all. Gun X Sword put Donkeys pics around the girls swimsuits in one episode.

And on the note of this hentai taste stuff Ninja Scroll has some hentai in it and it is one of the Best Damn Anime movies EVA!

Censorship doesn't only limit to explicit sex scenes. Just like what Alucard said, I was actually talking about blood, boobs, etc, but I don't want to be any more specific.

Ninja Scroll's graphic content isn't hentai. It is tastefully done because it is appropriate to the storyline and none of it is ever straightforward, it's either shown for a couple seconds or it stops before it even starts. Maybe the OP show mentioned in the OP I'm over analyzing now before I really know much about it, but my initial post WASN'T over analyzing. It's just the direction the following posts in relation to my initial post has brought up additional thoughts.

I'm not gonna argue about an anime I don't care about, all I was saying was the poster turned me off, it makes it look like it's more about huge boobs, ecchi/hentai action, etc than an interesting storyline. Maybe I shouldn't have commented unless I had something good to say about it like, ooo I can't wait to see some lesbo action. *shrug*

As for comments, I believe that's just my side of view because, I don't watch hentai, nor do I want to be known for watching it. (No offense)

Back on topic : There's only like, 2 minutes of yuri!!!

That trailer is misleading.. hopefully there's a change in the next 5 episodes.
