Yeah, the game can get boring. I sometimes stop playing for 1-2 weeks, then I play again. I don't feel like I'm forced to play, since I only paid once and it isn't monthly, so that is nice.

I love Lands of Hope, its awesome and much better (IMO) than most if not all other browser games out there. The game is huge and truly a browser MMORPG. The creator did a lot of work in this game.

About Lands of Hope: Lands of Hope is a huge browser rpg that has lots of graphics (the artwork is amazing), but also lots of text. It has tons of features including: lumberjacking, blacksmithing, tailoring, leatherworking, alchemy, beast taming, carpentry and too many others to list.

You can also get a pet of many kinds: dragon, snakemen, other humans and actually every mob in the game can be tamed if you have enough skill.

The game does not have turns or energy, you can continually keep playing.

The community within the game is awesome as well, everyone is very nice. And the owner (Decius) actually comes into chat and talks to people and listens to their ideas.

There is 8 different maps to go to, 9 if you pay the 15 dollars for the Jurassic Expansion. The Jurassic expansion gives you a whole new land to go to and based in the jurassic period so you can find dinosours and stuff. Another expansion is being released in December (also 15 dollars) and it will be based on pirates and the sea. You will even be able to have or build a boat. Also you can have a house or even a castle of your own.

The game does cost 15 dollars to get past level 100 (which takes about a week) but its only a one time fee and it isn't much.

Just today they added a new class that doesn't cost anything to get. It is called the Animator. He gets a very strong Golem pet that can be customized in many ways, but without the Golem though he is very weak.

A very fun class, harder to learn (maybe because its new and different) but I really like it.

wow i thought itd be stupid, but i actually got hooked! took me forever, but now i can actually make golems. great community too, and they are happy to help. (but dont say n00b in chat... o.0) im lvl 15 and i used ur referral

One thing though, you can milk humans (male and female) in this game...lol, at least you used to be able to

Heh...I started playing this game last night and I pretty much haven't stopped yet. I'm already level 35. :P

To be honest, last time I checked it out I stopped after 5 minutes, might check it out again now..

Every game can get boring. Problem is, if you play often and take a week off from playing LoH, you can miss out on a lot of updates :P

On a free account, it's 60 days until your characters get deleted. You can save them if you log in on the 59 or maybe 60th day of inactivity though until the next 60 days and so on. Once you pay the $15 fee, then the only way to have your characters / account deleted is to get banned from the game.

I'm pretty sure the Surgery skill allows you to do that. Which very few people have, skill-wise. And it's hard to get enough buffs from items to even use the skill.

Most people leave because of the tutorial (estate). If you can get through the estate (you can leave by lv 5), then you will enjoy the game more. I find the tutorial boring, but some enjoy it. You only get to see a tiny, tiny, tiny portion of the game there, which is why many people think the game sucks, because they never get through the estate.

Ah, okay...forgot the skill it was...I know in Forlorn you could, and I'm pretty sure LoH you can also...didn't know it was a rare skill though.

And yeah I agree, the tutorial is very boring...at least to me it was. I usually skip it and give my alts money or whatever he needs to start out. Not possible if you are brand new of course.
