You can change the controls in the game option (Mouse) section.
You can define options to leave it WSAD or point and click + WSAD and so on. I find it very interesting. The graphics are nice and well done. Today I am going to play a bit more cause yesterday when the download finished; it was late where I live. I was able to play for 20 minutes only. I particularly liked the game engine; I am playing with full resolution on 1280 x 1024, all features at high mode. Another interesting thing was the possibility to fly from one town to another instead of Gate Keepers teleporting you. The environment is nice and very creepy. Bugs I noticed: When you try to use skill with low mana it says you have low HP. At the Character screen (Status) There’s some messed up texts in the Movement Speed indicator. In 20 minutes, that’s all I got. But I can already say that I will spent quite some time with this one. The last MMORPG I did this was Lineage II and about an year ago. |

it will be only be a few days from now that people will start writing it sucks, they've already quit or that it's a grind.
take notes from the past, Never make a public opinion 1 day after the release, wait at least 1 week. Don't expect Requiem to be any diffirent in core gameplay than other grinders. |

I don't know, I find the gore and the ragdoll effects, and the all round presentation of the game to be quite refreshing so far. The grind (and it is grindy) isn't bad at all, and while I can see the later levels being grindirific, it doesn't bother me at this point.
Plus as others have said, the graphics are quite good. The sounds are good. As I said before the ragdoll effect is very nicely done, especially considering this is an MMO remember. The gore is great stuff. So far I'd just have to give it two thumbs up at this point. Hopefully those thumbs don't get hacked off... |

About grind, well, what can I say? Those who played lineage II perhaps will agree with me when I say its similar grinding in requiem.
I managed to reach lv 10 in 20 minutes; perhaps it’s a bit easier in the beginning than L2 to be honest. Anyway, grind depends on the player taste. Those who like fast end gaming, should play Guild Wars, the fastest game I ever played… Anyway, I know it’s quite soon to say: Wow!!! Requiem owns, etc, etc. But normally, I can like or dislike something at its very beginning and requiem gives me good impressions. I personally don’t give a damn to grind so; lets see what other features requiem have to differentiate it from the other games. |

level 10 in 20 mins is fast, not sure what lineage 2 you played, maybe a private server. i got to 10 in about 3 hours and 14 in about 8. in lineage 2 i would probably be 18 or so(first time playing, not twinked).
