After reading about the free play aspect, it sounds extremely limited. I wonder if it will really work with rules they've imposed.

I mean I like sims played sims 2 for like 3 yrs, I might try this out since i liked the sims and wanted it online, but there is no way it can be as good as Second Life, to many limitations in the sims. but i'll still get it

The big difference between Second Life and all the other social games is that everything in the game is user-created from scratch. The scripts, shapes, everything.

So unless you can do that, it can't be compared to Second Life. It's just another social game.

This is fantastic news! I've been hoping for something like this for years. I tried playing second life, but I really hated all the sleaze (and I also loathed the wasd controls

).

So if the dev's are gonna censor the content in EA Land, then that's a big plus in my book. Cause all the sex and filth in second life is a real turn off.

Anyway, I think this game is going to be very popular with female gamers (I'm one myself

). So a big thankyou for the info.

Tried playing weeks ago out of boredom (the trial) as I played the trial before, but them not giving you starter money anymore kind of bursted my lazy bubble.

Once 3feel comes out SL will be purged of all the sleaze. And yeah, i'm sick of it too. But it's just like the real world, sex is everywhere.

You can be serious in SL, it's all about the places you visit...
Just like in the real world

Trust me, that thing is addictive.

By the way, not all females turn down Second Life because of sex.

I've been playing it since the new launch and it's FUN.

It is limited if you play on EA-Land where subscribers go. You can get everything EA-Land people get in Test Center server (but sometimes they wipe).

It's extremely populated now that it's back and free to play. I missed it terribly. =)
