Orange Box/CoD4

okay
so heres the thing
im getting a new gaming laptop on sat/sun...
and my dad says i can get 1 game with it
and im decidding which one to get
and i NEED YOU guys to help me out here :/
like i want to know, which one will last me longer,better gameplay etc.

CoD4 = 1 with awesome graphics.

I have both and I'd reccomend CoD4. It's an awesome game, I can't stop playing it.

CoD4 is a piece of shit, don't waste your money..... Only thing good about it is the single player, multi-player turns to shit after a while.

I think your sense of smell is way off.... and with the orange box not only do you get 5 games but a bunch of mods which some are top notch. You'll be getting more with the orange box, much more. Anyhow good luck and hope you're happy with your choice.

But...with this dying and waning trend of Cod4 Fanboys(which I have to admit I am) against the well established Halo community, my (mistaken) assumption as to you being a Halo fan isn't that farfetched...is it?

although orange box has 5 games in it the only thing youll really find yourself playing afterwards is portal and team fortress.......and tf gets boring after a while too...half life 2 is already pretty much outdated and its not gonan be fun playing through it after like 5 times....episode 1 and 2 are alright but get boring after a while too........imo portal is the only reason OB is worth getting......and as for COD 4 although the single player is great i didnt find myself getting hooked to it....as for the multiplayer aspect though that'll keep you playing the game for months...and just so no1 thinks im a fanboy of anything im not i m just very judgemental on games and i judge them by strict guidelines since i play games so much now a days i dont really find myself saying a lot of games deserve a 10/10 the only 2 games ive ever said deserve that rating are uncharted drakes fortune for ps3 and cod 4.....so yea back to op u should get cod 4 over OB.....ob may have 5 games but those are 5 games youll stop playing after a short while

I'd say Orange Box, because you get HL2 which has so many mods out that you won't get bored of it, right now having over 10 mods for HL2 keeps me busy and gives me a FPS variety.
