Everyone knows one of my favorite MMORPGs is DDO. During this month and the last, they have been celebrating a 2 years birthday of DDO with events. The thing is things have been turning a bit strange.

Events in order.....
1. Cake of wishes has been given to players.
2. The sky in Stormreach has trun grey and grim.
3. Certain vendors have left Stormreach...its been said they left knowing what is coming.
4. Vandals have been leaving strange markings all around the marketplace.
5. Devils are appearing in the marketplace at random times.

So, whats next? I dont know, but its been turning into an interesting 2 year anniversary. During March 5th through the 11th, there will be a 25% EXP increase for new and old players.

Other things that has happened.......

1. My son just had someone give him 40K in platinum (400K in gold).
2. I am about to unlock the drow race.

From what I have been reading, DDO staff has stated some changes to the game and how often events occur. From the way it looks, it seems to be very promising.

Demons come from everywere and people talk about the end of the world and stuff.
then a fog comes and then a bit later demons appear come out of the fog and try to take over the city

My cake killed me

. I clicked something and one of the lists on the genie was overwritten..a GM was right next to me when i went splat. He laughed at me. I was sad...sad sad day indeed. I hear that actually a new place is going to be opened up soon. Haha sometimes this games funny as hell

I love how this thread turned into a discussion on that worthless piece of shit, Cyber.

Nevertheless, What's the server that most people play on? I actually was eyeing this game for a while, but the anniversary just finally sealed the deal.

I was hazy about DDO at first, since quite a few people I sold the game to, back when I worked at EB (before those bastards at GameStop bought 'em out), had a huge amount of issues with the game itself.

Most of the issues stemmed from accounts being locked for no apparent reason, characters becoming perma-glitched, and the such. But it sounds like those issues are long gone.

Anyways, anyone up for trying the trial?
