Icarus grinned and looked up at the sky. Yes! They don't seem to want to fight me and ...Tahu...yeah Tahu dosen't seem all that ticked. Icarus waved to Lun the last person introduced to her. "Hiya Lun." then looking at the others giving them their own personal response. " Oi, Maki. How are you?. 'Ello Tahu, I'm really sorry about running in to you and all you see Ke warned me kind of aburptly about some guy behind me and I kinda of rolled off my viewpoint."

KeroKero then decided to talk to Icarus about the situation they had gotten themselves in to. Careful 'Rus Tahu dosen't seem to like you much and he looks like he could beat you if he needed to. I think you might have scared the young girl...Maki wasn't it. She's staring at you.

Icarus considered his advice and then glanced at Maki who was infact inspecting him. He noticed that she was looking at his clothes which were to big for him."Heh... Kinda baggy arn't they." he said holding out his arms and spinning around so she could get a better view of him. " I'm a Vegitarian so I'm kinda skinny..." He laughed poking his chest with his thumb. "...Plus on top of that I'm kinda tall for my age too I guess,Oh by the way im 16,Anyway I live by myself really. On topof that Its hard for me to get a hold of clothes that fit, Because of my odd weight to height ratio. So I tried making my own clothes...as you see...I screwed up. " He then laughed at his own expense again and looked over to were Pastel and Reen walked off.

"Well we could go join them. That guys a royal guard from my Queendom isn't he? Wow, thought it was hard to get in there he looks my age.That girl was the demon Earth User I heard about in the big crowds of people who were No-fun. " Icarus looked around looking over Maki's shoulder he saw the Fire User that had tried to take him out earlier. "Now now...attacking the young lady first isn't nice cause if you hurt her..." He pulled out his bow quickly and grabbing an arrow with out a real tip. pulled it tight. "...I'm gonna be even more pissed. Don't move Maki." He said trying not to startle her.

The shot flew off nailing the man in the forehead. A groan could be heard from him as he fell over and hid the ground with a thud. "People like that...they just arn't any fun at all." He said returning his weopen to its place.
((Its cool Tahu I've actually been metioned like that with this one group once.Also you are all on my friends list...I pity you all. ))

Maki nodded at Tahu, trying to hold back her laughter at the way he said "friend." She then turned to Icarus, who was saying "hi" to everyone, before noticing she had been staring at him.

"I-i-its not like that!" Maki exclaimed, blushing, until he told her how old he was. "R-really!? Isn't that almost humanly impossible. No wait, boys grow far quicker than girls, so I guess being that tall at the age of 16 is normal for a typical boy. Still, isn't it bad to be living alone and being a vegatarian? Isn't a malnutrition part of the ratio that makes up a vegatarian (I hate this word >:o I had to constantly reword malnutrition...)? Not saying that it is completly bad to be..."

“It seems the Rumble is coming to a close. We should hurry up and finish this,” Tahu stated, looking around.

"...Of course, I think my father was a vegatarian, and he looked perfectly healthy," Maki continued to speak in the background. "And there are plenty of healthy vegatarians in the world. Not saying that you are not healthy, Icarus. That point lies on the fact that you live alone..."

"Well we could go join them," Icarus replied to Tahu, possibly unaware of Maki's rambling. "That guys a royal guard from my Queendom, isn't he? Wow, thought it was hard to get in there he looks my age.That girl was the demon Earth User I heard about in the big crowds of people who were No-fun."

Maki stopped talking for a bit, that being the most talking she had done in a long while, and the longest talking she did that went unheard or unnoticed. It was then when she noted Icarus looking at her, or so she thought. She felt uneasy all of a sudden, the presence of someone behind her starting to spread throughout her body.

"Now now...attacking the young lady first isn't nice cause if you hurt her..." Icarus began, pulling out a bow and dull arrow quickly, "...I'm gonna be even more pissed. Don't move Maki."

It was too late. Maki was already aware of another person behind her, and at the moment Icarus spoke, Maki had dodged out of the way, leaping into the air. As she rotated her body so that she would appear behind the man a few feet away, she watched as Icarus released the arrow straight at the attacker's head, who fell back, unconscious.

"People like that...they just arn't any fun at all." Icarus said as he returned his weapon to its place.

"Hey, do not think I would let someone attack me from behind so easily," Maki told Icarus, trying to hold back her anger. "After all, I too am from the Wind Queendom, and it would be a disgrace to fall for such a trick as a sneak-attack. I am not as helpless as you think, Icarus. I just prefer not to fight when I do not have to."

((OOC: Icarus is going to have everyone hating him >_< no joke, he's cool ))

((OOC: yes i pity you that you know me...(dosen't hold himself to a very high standard.) Plus thats Icarus's personality really cool at one point then..*points at first few lines*...He can act like he's insane...which is cool to me at least.))
Icarus laughed. "Hey hey calm down now. I'm just want to make sure my new friends stay safe. Plus if you don't like to fight...then I appoint myself as your new bodyguard!" Then pulling on a mock Captain Morgan persona. He stood on the rock comicly with his leg in the air as if it was on a stair step.

Kero entered Icarus's mind. You know she's been talking...here I'll tell you what she's been saying...Idiot. " (tells Icarus everything Maki had rambled about.)"

Icarus nodded at random with out anyone hearing the conversation it seemed like he was listening to music that no else could hear. ((only say that cause I just did that with my iPod... )) "well yeah thats true Maki if your not careful a Vegatarian could fall to malnutriton if he/she dosen't get a good amount of protein from nuts and such.((I'm guessing we have the greatest food in the world next to green apples.)) I love peanut butter so i get a lot of stuff that vegitables and fruit don't have from that I still eat eggs and stuff like that too."

Icarus then addressed her concern of his one person living. "Well Its not like my parents are dead I just decided to leave and all that. My mom still keeps in touch sometimes. My dad I don't know really. Ever since he made that damned trip to the darkness kingdom all that time ago...Hey no need to be sad though Im sure he's fine were ever they are...

"Anyway...uh...Maki your okay right I didn't hit you or nothing. I know your from the Wind Queendom and I guessed that earlier you have that aura about you that are people have. I'm just a little concerned. Another thing...can you tell me the Royal guard and the Earth girl's names I want to know something about them before I introduce my self." He said kind of embarssed now. He liked to meet knew people but aside from the intial introduction if he has to meet someone right after that he can sometimes become shy.

Tahu stopped suddenly and looked behind him. Maki and Icarus had just had a confrontation with an opponent. The man now laid on the ground unconscious. He had just watched the confrontation like a play.

“humph,” Tahu smiled.

"Hey hey calm down now. I'm…” Icarus continued.

Tahu glanced over in Maki’s direction to see her reaction to the whole ordeal. She did not seem that upset but she sounded agitated with Icarus. Maybe she does not like people underestimating her or getting help when she does not need it. What she just showed then told Tahu she indeed knew how to fight. Maki was no push over.

He still has not seen Maki’s power because he was busy fighting when she displayed it. Not knowing her strength Tahu just hoped he would not have to find out by ways of fighting her. Tahu knew the spear she carried was not for looks but deadly force.

It was amazing to Tahu that these teenagers were able to survive this long. Not only that but likely to be in the finals. Then another problem arose in Tahus head, would these companions fight each other. He could see Icarus and the Royal Guard fighting easily. But Maki fighting Reen that was another story. From what Tahu had noticed she cared greatly for Reen. She stood in front of his spear to protect her.

…I want to know something about them before I introduce myself," Finished Icarus.

Looking to Icarus, after being snapped out of thought, Tahu tried to remember what Icarus was saying. He almost felt bad for the boy. Tahu did not really hate the kid he just talked a lot. About weird stuff to like the diet he was on. Tahu did not want to be rude but talking about what you eat during a Royal Rumble was just something Tahu thought was strange. Just then an idea popped into Tahus head, what if Icarus like Maki!(heehee =P) That would explain his excessive talking. At that thought Tahu smirked but said nothing about his thoughts.

“Reen and the Guards name is Pastel I believe,” interrupted Tahu, “now come on you can ask them yourselves.”(I’m pretty sure they were not that far away)

Tahu stepped forwards, over fallen warriors, to meet up with Reen and Pastel.

Icarus was still chatting with Maki about random topics to tedious to really explain.When he heard over from Tahu.

“Reen and the Guards name is Pastel I believe,” interrupted Tahu, “now come on you can ask them yourselves.”

Icarus snapped out his talking which he normally did when he was meeting new people. He looks confident on the outside but the the over talking was really just a side effect of being nervous or overly hyper.

"Allright then, man. Were did they go again?" he said looking around for a glimpse of Reen and Pastel. He thought of the situation he had got himself in to.

Kero...what If I have to fight them in the finals that isn't fun at all... I knew this was gonna happen...I mean Tahu would be easy...we meet by me literaly knocking in to him. If I don't get to know Pastel then he'll be easy too.Well not easy as in a easy fight but ill fight back. ...you know that I think about it...Thats a Bad ass name. Maki...I don't her and Reen are girls...I can't fight a girl. On top of that I've gotten to talk to Maki...and as her now... of course unless she disagrees... Self-appointed bodyguard. I can't fight someone I took on myself to protect. Raggle Fraggle....grrrrr...Okay well lets see what the future holds.

He snapped out of his very long talk to himself. "Tahu were are they cause I see nothing...wow barely any fighters left...I count maybe... 200-ish." He said seeing only small hundles of fighters some even like himself and the others just chatting.

"F-Fine, But i'll fight too... M-My name's Reen." The girl said, pointing to her bow which is lying in the ground. Pastel noticed that she was blushing and was avoiding eye contact with him. Pastel picked the bow and gave it to her.

"Here you go and nice to meet you." He replied. Then he noticed that Maki was gazing at him. "What? You want me to carry you too?" Pastel said jokingly. "Well then let's go." After that, they walked once again to the crowd of people and started fighting again.

Since Pastel was carrying Reen on his arms, he could only use his feet to fight. Pastel kicked his way through the crowd while Reen shoots her arrows. Although sometimes he'd do somersaults and spinning kicks, he was careful not to lose his balance or he'll drop Reen.

An hour of fighting has passed. Pastel wiped the sweat on his face through his shoulders. Reen suddenly talked.l

"You can put me down now..." Reen said. It's already been an hour but she was still avoiding looking Pastel at the eyes.

"Sure, but don't push yourself too hard." Pastel replied, putting Reen down slowly and letting her stand on her own. With this, Pastel could use his swords again! He quickly unsheated one of his swords and slashed downward, the wind he generated with his slash created a cloud of dust in front of them. He heard someone coughing in front of them. Looking closely, Pastel saw a manly figure in the midst of the smoke.

"Oof! Oof! Watch it will ya?!" The man shouted at them. The smoke slowly clears, revealing a brown spiky haired man about the age of 16, wearing the uniform of the Royal Guard and a red arm band. Written on the armband was the words "Retriever".

"Rick!" Pastel shouted back.

"Oh Pastel it's you." Rick continued, picking up a body of an unconscious man.

"You guys already been dispatched to retrieve the bodies of the knocked out ones?"

"Yep, Flora's there." Rick replied, pointing to a small girl about the age of 12, who's repeatedly bowing her head saying sorry to a man who she accidentally bumped into. The girl has short white hair and was also wearing the uniform of a Royal Guard and the same armband Rick was wearing.

"I always wonder how she manages to lift a body of a man who's size is 3 times bigger than hers."

"Heh, Don't ask me how. Darn, this thing is really itchy." Rick answered, scratching where the armband is. "Chii forgot to tell you to not wear your uniform when you go to the tournament so now we're forced to wear this armbands to differentiate us from you." He continued. Normally they'd call Chii Queen, Your Highness, You Majesty, and so forth. But Chii requested them herself to just call her by her name.

"Oh yeah, I was so excited that i forgot to change clothes. Hahaha..." Pastel replied, scratching the back of his head.

"Damn, I hate that Queen." Rick said. Pastel felt a gust of wind as Rick said those words. When he looked up he saw a rock floating above Rick's head.

"Uhh... Rick?"

"What? Ack!" Before even Pastel could tell Rick about the rock, it already fell on his head. Rick dropped the unconscious man he was currently lifting.

"I heard that!!!" A woman shouted. The voice came from the direction of Sunset Hill where the royalties are watching.

After hearing the voice, Pastel suddenly remembered about Reen. He turned around to introduce her.

"By the way, this is Rick. The girl over there is Flora. They're both Royal Guards like me." Pastel said, pointing on Rick and Flora before turning around to introduce Rick to Reen. "Rick this is Reen. Let's just say i'm helping her get to the finals."

"Ahh... That hurts..." Rick mumbled before replying to Pastel. "Oh really? It looks more like dating to me. Ahahaha!" He laughed, his hands on his hips. "Oh yeah! Before i forgot..." Rick pointed his hand on Pastel. Every finger was closed except for the middle one.

"What's that?"

"I'm not sure either but it says on the book that Queen Chii wrote about the Human World that it's some sort of a challenge to someone."

"So what should i do?"

"If you'd do the same then that means that you've accepted the challenge."

"Ok then." Pastel pointed his middle finger back to Rick.

"After the tournament?" Pastel asked.

"After the tournament." Rick repeated which means it's a yes. They were both grinning at each other which made Flora who just approached them shiver. "I have a bad feeling about this." She thought.

"Well then. Guess we'll go back to our duties." Rick said, turning back to Flora.

"Huh? But i just came here! Pastel haven't even introduced me to his friend yet!" Flora complaint. "Flora, Reen. Reen, Flora. Ok that's it." Rick replied, dragging Flora on the collar of her shirt. "Waaaahh!" Flora cried.

After all of those were over, Pastel turned back once again to Reen.

"Well then. Time to end this fight!" Pastel said, raising his sword up in the air.

((OOC: JubJub, I demand a rematch! I've gained a few levels and am now wearing my rare weapon! Kikyomuchonji or watever it's called i forgot! Oh and no Data Drain!

((OOC: Oh yeah, because the middle finger would start a fight among people on Earth >_< Data Draining? This isn't Dot Hack! Besides, Data Drain is an illegal move that can either lower the stats of a player (if you are on Kite's team in the game and get Data Drained by one of the phases) or puts the actual person into a comma, called commatosed victims (like Ryou Misaki, the player of Sora, who became Haseo in W:2)--but enought Dot Hack talk! ))

Maki had struggled to listen to what Icarus had to say, but edventually understood most of it. She heard him say something about being her body guard, at which she winced as he put on some goofy heroic face and stood on a rock, one of his legs in the air, as though a ledge or boulder was right beside the rock. Then Maki listened to him talk about his eating habits and how he planned to live alone, and that his parents were somewhere, but did not seem too bothered by living alone. He even said he was concerned about her, at which Maki blushed, hiding her face by tilting it downwards, towards the ground, trying to hide her annoyance. Just when she was about to answer his question, she saw Tahu grin and open his mouth to talk.

“Reen and the Guards name is Pastel I believe,” Tahu had interrupted, which made Maki half-relieved. “Now come on you can ask them yourselves.”

"Alright then, man," Icarus replied, looking around himself. "Were did they go again?"

Maki took a glimpse around herself as well, before remembering something Pastel had said earlier.

"What? You want me to carry you too?" Pastel had said jokingly. "Well then let's go."

Of course, because of Maki's short attention span, she was too busy gapping at the newcomer at the time to really consider what he said. Bored, Maki plopped on the ground and gazed up at the sky. It was a sunny day, white, fluffy clouds drifting slowly through the sky like cotton. The light blue sky looked like a giant blanket, the sun shinning at the acme of its brightness, almost hurting Maki's even brighter green eyes, at which she squinted to gaze at it. Sitting up with a sigh, she heard Icarus talking once more. TO whom, it was not certain, but Maki was sure it was to Tahu, who seemed anxious to find Reen and Pastel.

"Tahu, where are they, cause I see nothing...wow barely any fighters left...I count maybe... 200-ish." Icarus told Tahu, once again scanning the area.

"Well, it seems there is still a few who want to fight," Maki pointed to some shadowy figures in the distance, one person seemingly more interested in fighting than the other. "Let's check it out. Perhaps we will find Reen and Pastel as well?"

Reen replied with a nod and stood firmly in the ground. She was looking around behind Pastel, minding her own business as Pastel drew his sword out and swung it downward. When she heard someone coughing she turned around to see who it is just to find out that it was Pastel's friend.

She patiently waited for Pastel to finish talking with him, glancing around now and then on their surroundings to see if anyone would try to do a surprise attack at them. A few moments later, Pastel finally introduced her to his friends.

"By the way, this is Rick. The girl over there is Flora. They're both Royal Guards like me." Pastel said, pointing on Rick and Flora before turning around to introduce Rick to her. "Rick this is Reen. Let's just say i'm helping her get to the finals."

Before even Reen could reply, Rick started talking.
"Oh really? It looks more like dating to me. Ahahaha!" He laughed, his hands on his hips. "Oh yeah! Before i forgot..." They continued talking, doing strange signs with their hands. Reen thought if this is what they call secret codes.

Reen was hearing someone coming. She tilted her head to the left only to see that it was the girl Flora. Flora smiled and waved at her as she walks towards them. Reen smiled back and they continued watching the two talk until they're finish.

"Well then. Guess we'll go back to our duties." Rick said, turning back to Flora.

"Huh? But i just came here! Pastel haven't even introduced me to his friend yet!" Flora complaint. "Flora, Reen. Reen, Flora. Ok that's it." Rick replied, dragging Flora on the collar of her shirt. "Waaaahh!" Flora cried.

Reen waved goodbye to them as they walked away before facing Pastel who is raising his sword up in the air.

"You have good friends." Reen said to Pastel. She was now looking straight at him, smiling. Her face was a little bit red though. Reen then turned around from Pastel, catching a glimpse of Maki and the others in the distance. She waved her bow in the air so that they could see where they are.

((OOC: @lokuri, He's talking about "The World R:1". It's a .hack online game. Apparently i'm one of the few lucky players who got a Twilight Bracelet before they eventually disappear for good

((OOC: Waaah! Wait, are you talking about Fragment? I wanted to play that! I love dot hack! I am still playing the first game series though. I need Quaratine, and unless I get a job, that is not happening anytime soon. I got the two Al Buster novels, and the bracelet mangas, plus a few novels that go with the game (I am collecting them as I go). I wish I could play W:1...luckies. You guys have to be talking about Fragment, because, wasn't that the first online game, yet it got cancelled? Didn't it only come out in Japan? Waaah, unfair! Why couldn't I be born in Japan instead of stupid America!? Nothing interesting down here! Oh...but I guess I should RP...complaining won't help...v.v ))

Maki saw Reen waving and sprinted over as fast as she could. She enjoyed the feel of the wind through her hair, and had the feeling of flying through the clouds. It just donned on her how limited the Wind Queendom was on power. A fire user could fly through the air as much as they pleased, but a wind user had so many restaints. It was these kind of thoughts that made her wonder about the past.

"Did something happen long before I was born that restricted flying among the Wind Queendom?" Maki asked herself, pondering this as she continued to run. "I know it was not always called the Wind Queendom, so was it possible that flight was allowed more freely back then too? There are still a few who soar among the clouds, gazing down at everyone, as though they are Gods in the sky. However, most people now, including me, can not even fly that much higher than a tree in their first forms. Maybe, if I can reach it one day, I can reach another form and become more powerful! Still, even that art is almost fading away. The day I can transform might be both far and near, yet right now, it seems out of reach."

Maki finally found Reen, and could not help but grin when seeing her. She knew it was foolish, but Maki wanted to protect Reen, along with all the other friends she encountered.

"Maki, I'm sorry," A girl with red hair, yellow eyes, and elf ears apologized.

"Mina," Maki, who was about 13, pleaded to the girl. "I thought we were friends forever. You promised! You promised...that we would always be friends."

"I'm sorry," Mina repeated, on the verge of tears. "Please forget me--"

"How can you say that!?"

"Maki, I'm never returning--"

"I don't care! Please...we promised to be friends forever!"

"I'm sorry."

"Reen," Maki started, then noticed Pastel. "Ahahah, looks like you have a 'bodyguard' too! Icarus is trying real hard to be mind. Oh, I forgot! Tahu and I made a new friend! Here they come! Icarus! Tahu! Come on!"

((OOC: And then Mina gets killed in some accident, etc. I'm serious...I am going to post that when the right time comes...

I just thought of something: Maki + Mina = M&M >_<
