Icarus walked in after her and looked around at the building they had entered. "Pretty fancy I guess seems like a nice little place." he said his eyes darting from place to place paintings,menus, other guests chating at the nonsense of there lives.

Icarus leaned against the wall with his eyes closed listening to the conversation between Maki and "Ms. Jill" Finally Maki addressed him about were to sit. His eyes snapped open and he freaked out abit at the change of conversation to him. "Huh?! Wha...oh uh..."

Icarus regained his composure, put his hands in his pockets and shruged. "Since the way the wait-staff addressed you so friendly...you seem to know this place like the back of your hand. So why don't you pick a place to sit." he said waving over the right to find a place to sit to her.

As soon as Maki was about to answer that question, a man, unfamilar to her, told them to follow him up to the top. Upon following him, Maki decided to answer Icarus's question.

"Yeah, this is my favorite spot, and I know almost everyone who works here, and which table I like to sit at," Maki murmured, not wanting the guy to hear her. "But this...man...I never seen him before. In fact, I know everyone, except him. In order for me to not know him, he has to be a new worker, because I eat here everyday, mainly for lunch. I wonder who he is."

Maki tried to study the guy. From what she could grasp, he was in his twenties, so he could not have too much experience as a waiter, and wore a white shirt, red tie, and black pants -- typical waiter clothing, but not the custom for this Inn, especially since most of the workers waitered AND cleaned as maids for the resting part of the Inn. He also had short, layered indigo hair which fell to his eyes, which were green. As he turned around to smile nervously at Maki, she saw that he did not have a name-tag.

"Um, excuse me, mister," Maki tried to seem friendly, noticing that he was getting suspicious. "What is your name?"

"Oh, I guess I forgot my name-tag," The man replied. "Here we are. I assume you have been here long enough to know this small bell at the center of the table is to alert your waiter or waitress that you are ready to order. I shall be waiting over there when you are ready. Enjoy the view."

With that, the man waltzed away to look out over the balcony. What Maki could not understand was how easily he avoided giving out his name AND how he spoke to her -- swuave and simple, like he knew where she sat, how to treat her, and even gave her the information she needed -- he was indeed a new worker.

"Well, let's sit down," Maki replied, realizing they were sitting at the far right corner, the closest seat to the door and the balcony, her favorite seat. "Let's see what the menu has to offer today."

Maki flipped through the menu, yet still glanced occasionally at the strange man looking out at the stars.

"He didn't even say, "Enjoy your dine at Starline Inn," the greeting every waiter or waitress has to say," Maki fumed as she held the menu. "How do you earn a job without even knowing the proper greetings and proper way of addressing people. Never let on that you know them and always assume they are new customers, no matter how often they come. Besides, the only reason I come so often is because of...because of my...my mother--no, I cannot look depressed infront of Icarus."

"So, what are you ordering?" Maki asked, peeping over her menu.

Icarus noticed the oddnesss of the waiter. I don't even come here and I know theres something werid about him. His oufit is differnt...and who forgets there nametag? Dosen't seem nice either never even anwsered Maki question. I should pop him for that...

Icarus sat down and looked around again. "This place really is nice, I can see why you like it so much." He said smiling.

He noticed his menu after Maki had asked him what he wanted. He quickly picked it up and fliped through it lazily. He looked over at Maki. " Wait if you love this place shouldn't you know the Menu by now? I'm probably just gonna have a salad but what would you suggest?" He said putting down the menu and looking at her. " Also...what was with that Waiter...he seemed differnt and I'm sure you noticed.

"Well, they have many varieties of choices," Maki begun. "There are many types of fish, like the fish fillet, and some good bread, like melon bread. Also, the Veggie Star Soup is good, with cut vegetables in it shaped like stars. Umm, there is a Fruit Star Soup, with certain fruit shaped like fruits in it, or plain Salad. Also, there is a Star Shabab, with, of course, star shaped varieties of fish, meat, and fruit on it, or a Veggie Star Shabab. Basically, everything has the title of "star" in it to go with the Inn."

Then Maki recalled the waiter.

"Yeah, he is strange," Maki begun. "But I will investigate later. Let's just enjoy ourself for now, okay?"

Icarus nodded every now and again to show he was paying attetion. He then picked up his Menu and looked over what Maki had mentioned. "The Fruit Star Soup sounds good as long as theres no meat in it or anything long those lines." He said putting down his Menu. "and I'll probably have some water. Ke you want anything?"

KeroKero looked out the window. "Yeah...that." He said and smiled he flew off and dived into a alley and gracefully flew back with a mouse in its mouth.

Icarus faked gagged. " Man thats disgusting." he said as KeroKero at the mouse in one gulp.

KeroKero laughed and said. " What its how we birds eat you remember how Rave ate don't you?"

Icarus sighed. "Thanks for reminding me about those two ...I still wonder what happend to those two...there lost with out us probably." He said rubbing the ends of his scarf together.

"Well, the Star Fruit Soup is all fruit and a special sauce that goes with all the fruit and is rich, thick, healthy, and good for you," Maki answered, folding her hands together and resting her chin on them with a grin. "Hmm, in fact, I think I may have the same thing."

Maki watched as Icarus turned his attention before Ke. Before she knew it, the birdlike creature flew back with a mouse in his mouth, which made Maki gag a bit. Hoping to get a better view that did not gross her out, Maki tilted her head to Lun, who had just flew up beside her and was gazing at the menu. Her long white hair which fell to her feet and ended like cotton or clouds was held up by scarlet ribbon. She had on a long red dress with pink, transparent ribbons tied into bows on each side. One thing Lun was good at was making outfits to match the place she was at. She even had blush and what appeared to be red lipstick, using materials she found (she does not have small appliences like tiny libstick and a small make-up kit).

"Well, I think I will just go with a small dish of fruit, if I can eat it all," Lun joked, her butterfly wings fluttering a bit harder as she almost lost balance.

"Okay, I will tell them to make a small plater just for you," Maki told Lun, pressing the bell. "Here he comes."

The waiter flicked some of his indigo hair out of his eyes and approached the four. While he was walking, Maki noticed for the first time that he had a long ponytail held by a ponytail with some weird anegma. However, since he never turned around, Maki barely glimpsed it before he was standing right by their table.

"How may I help you?" He asked, flipping a piece of sheet over, which was obviously blank.

"Icarus here would desire the Star Fruit Soup, and so will I," Maki announced, then she eyed him sideways and continued. "As for my friend here, Lun, she would like a small plater of fruit."

"Who?" He asked, his eyes drifting from Icarus to Maki.

"Um, I am Lun," Lun greeted. "Pleased to meet you. May I recieve your name?"

"Will that be all then?" He questioned, ignoring Lun's kindness. "No drinks?"

"I would like Fruit Paradise, but I am sure you heard my friend ask you a question," Maki replied harshly. "Now I do not know where you came from, who you are--and I know everyone here--so please do not act so rude."

"How am I rude if I simply do not say anything?" The man was playing dumb now.

"Then perhaps you are just a secret spy vent on harming everyone in here."

"Well maybe an unpleasant child like you should learn to hold her tongue."

"I am the customer--"

"Oh, well, if you know everyone who works here, how am I suppose to know you do not live here?"

"How dare you!"

"I have my own opinions, you know."

"You are the waiter! A waiter should not treat their customer that way!"

"I am a human. I have my own thoughts!"

"Who are you?"

"Who are you?"

"Do not mock me! I can have you fired in an instant!"

"Maki!" Lun pleaded.

"I know!" Maki accidently snapped, then looked down at the table. "Sorry."

"I am glad your friend can keep you in control," The waiter notified Maki.

"I am glad you noticed my friend--"

"That is it!" The man shouted. "I cannot believe you act so bitter, you...YOU FORTEEN YEAR OLD TRAGEDY!"

"What!"

"You think you can behave as you please, just because your father was--"

"I HATE YOU!"

Maki could not believe what she had just said. She did not even know the guy, yet she yelled out such horrible words for everyone to hear. Startled and upset, Maki raced from the seen back to the first floor, tears flying.

Icarus smiled at how calm and friendly Maki was acting. "You seem to be having fun." He then nodded in KeroKero's Direction. "I'm sorry for my friend." He said laughing.

KeroKero threw a glare at Icarus. "Shut up 'Rus why do you have to make jokes at my expense?!" he said fixing his glasses.

Icarus laughed again. "Hey chill chill birdbrain, I was only joking."

When the waiter had asked for drinks Icarus simply replied. "I’ll have water."

After that is when the waiter started to get annoyed with the Maki. Icarus just sat there pressing his fingers against his nose.

KeroKero knowing this sign began to panic. “No no nononno 'rus calm Down... Icarus calm down nononono Icarus Ivywind if you do what I think you’re going to... OHHHHhhhhh." he said hiding behind his little book.

When Maki had calmed down Icarus let out a breath of relief but when the Waiter began to yell and Maki ran off he lost it. "Key follow Maki tell her I'll be right back I just have to deal with some rift raff." he said his tone deepening lower.

KeroKero flew off in a flash after Maki shouting. "KICK HIS ASS but don't destroy the place!" he said facing forward he frowned. "Aye what am I going to do with that kid? Nimmel...I wish you were here."

Icarus slowly stood up with his head down. A more darkish aura could be almost seen around him his hair and scarf blowing in his man made wind. With a flash Icarus had his hand around the waiter’s throat and lifted him off his feet. He spoke with an almost Demon like voice now. " Now now... WHAT...do you think you’re doing? TALKING to a young woman like that. One other thing you seem to know her and I want to know why. But you can tell me that all later after I have you beaten to a pulp. I pity you for Nimmel isn't here to stop me in any way. Hehehehe.With this Icarus slammed the man on to his table. Grabbed him by his uniform and threw him off the balcony. Icarus jumped after him, slamming him down to the earth in the back of the restaurant. " What sort of Person insults a girl especially one younger then you!!!I should kill you.He shouted. He fell down after the man and landed hard on his stomach. He then grabbed him again and held him up against the back of the restaurant. " Now ...I hope you answer ME this time. WHO ...ARE ...YOU!?"
