PHP help

Is PHP easy to learn for me? I took visual basic in school for an entire year and atm i'm studying C++ in school. I have 8 months of training in C++ so far. What can you do with PHP? Do you have to know much about HTML to do PHP?

PHP is a loosely typed scripting language, you won't have an issue learning it based on the other languages you've listed. Here's a quick beginners tutorial over at the PHP site. It does help to know basic HTML, because PHP is used to render webpages. I haven't seen anyone use it for anything else.
