Also, don't install vista with 1gb of ram, are you made? Vista eats half a gigabyte, get 2gb before you install vista. Also, vista has trouble running games before it's time, which is basically, all good games. One common reason for games not working is because you have vista.

^ Actually I disagree, every single game I've played works, hell SC works in Vista, Warcraft 2 works in Vista. I've played many old games in Vista and it works.

Well theres a lot of reasons. Now when it came out i could see that, but the performance isn't really a issue anymore and lets face it. MS isn't gonna release DX10 for vista. EVER.

And as long as your not a complete noob at computers you can tweak it so it runs better. To get a system that runs vista well isn't that hard. Now i would rather use XP if MS still supported it the same amount but they aren't.

Also i did the same thing... Got the email yesterday
