OK this morning our school had a career day thing and i got many different lectures from University in the UK, talks bout different universities to pick and what jobs we might like

the lectures i chose to listen to was

1) counseling psychologist

2) Megamas training company
HSE (health, safety and environment

3) University of Warwick

4) University of wales institute cardiff
art and design education

5) University of Southampton

its not much, but tomorrow theres a...exhibition at a place with more uni opportunities which i regret, probably wont come to..
now.. my parents probably expect a big deal from me cause my sisters all went to good universities and got freaking worthwhile jobs, while i..
dont know what to become..

after this im starting to think about my life, i rarely join any clubs, i dont do much volunteer work and etc. (DAMN INTERNET)

The lecture that got me most interested was no. 4, art and design, the teacher talked to us about portfolios and etc,
what got my attention was some kid designed a scooter that can fold and turn into a bag for grocery and etc, and you can ride with it while its carrying groceries lol
and the uni had many opportunities too, like a lot of their students got into big companies like Nokia, sony ericson(sp?) and etc etc.

I love drawing stuff and etc but im not that good, but i do have some creativity in my body..somewhere.

i need advice, should i get adobe photoshop to create some of my portfolio? im thinking of designing the PSP2 like a lot of people did...or should i say, theorize?

meh im going to ask my cousin, hes pretty good at this stuff, but hes more into..drawing art or fine art..

even if in the end i dont pick this as my uni ill still at least given it a go

Ask your local Media thing dude guy. The guy who teaches Flash and all that shit at your school. He should be able to help you a bit. Other than that, take Megaman. Or AVID, they help you build your portfolio.

Take your time and choose carefuly. You want to pick something that will make you happy. You have 4 years to choose as well as time to choose while taking your basics in college. Don't buy PS unelss you are really serious about it PS cost an arm a leg and your first born.

dude seriously.... dont let anyone else tell you what you should do, dont do anything just because it pays good or because "its a good job"

do what you want to do, do what you think is the best thing to do.

i know it might sound corny but if you arent going to follow your dreams then who is?


also dont go to southampton (it sucks)
