I used to play Runescape long long time ago, Had a high lvl char, but after like a year when i tried to login, it wouldnt log... Do characters get deleted after some time of unactivity? Cause Thats just BS. And im assuming it got deleted because i tried to register my username i had.. and it worked.. All the work i put into runescape.. and they just deleted my account? And i payed for a month of membership back then. It kinda sucks.

I didnt play my character for like 2 years and it worked.

you should still be able to log into the accounts mail i think.. try that and see if you got permanent ban [They delete accounts if you dont appeal after so long]

there is a chanch u trying the wrong pass if u still got the old card u used to pay for mem i imagin u can use it to recover ur account not posotive though never had to acturally recover it
