-Looking at the Blader Stat growth table raises another question. My understanding was that STR influences HP, physical damage, and defence. DEX influences some physical damage, dodge rate (which is Def rate?) and hit rate. So I always thought Katana-bladers had higher dodge and hit rates, while having slightly lower base damage, HP and defence when compared with blade bladers (due ot higher DEX and lower STR requirements on katanas). From your table, it would seem there are absolutely no differences between a Katana-blader and a Blade-blader other than looks as DEX and STR have the same effect on every stat. Now if STR does affect your hp, then why would you ever make a Katana-blader?

I'll answer this for you as best as i can.
- I wouldn't recommend doing this because, you need a fair amount of dex, and yeah, the boost from rank ups are nice... but they wont give you what you need to have the best equip for your level. Also, the best way to rank up is with adept gear, which starts at like level 40ish with blacksteel armor.
You may be able to get by by doing this strategy with your Int, but still, i doubt it. The stat ratio for warrior is like 5 str : 3 dex : 1 int (that's not exact, but it's my rough estimate, i haven't played cabal in about a year lol). So just raise your stats as you need them, and you'll also need stats that are required for every 10 levels. So it's best to only consider the rank up stat boosts as a freebee. And then use that boost to decrease the str/dex/int that you need for your next equip upgrade.
- Punching means punching. Equip no weapons and your normal attack will be to punch. (equipping weapons will get you more skill exp per hit than punching, but they do far more damage, so you get less skill exp per monster) Punching works well for increasing skill exp, but its a long and boring skill grind. If you can use the dummy's then i strongly suggest puching afk while you sleep or something.
- This one im not so sure about, but katanas add more hit rate than damage, while blades increase damage more than hit rate. As far as i know, that's about the only difference between them in terms of damage/hit rate. However, in terms of defense, the blade blader would be better. Because blades require more str than dex, means your blader will have higher str, and will be able to wear armor suits (the armor that warrior/force shielder wear) which increases your def far greater than the armor that bladers/wizards normally wear.
And str bladers with armor suits/blades excell in pvp and pvm. So as to your question about "why make a katana-blader" i don't know. Perhaps some people think it looks cooler? lol. We'll see what Duo has to say about it.
