You don't get it, do you? How ELSE are they supposed to make money without advertising? Let's say they removed all advertisements from the game and the website. People would be going "What's NX?" or "What's Cash Shop?". If you got what you wanted, the whole community of GMS would be completely oblivious to Cash Shop or anything. And the thing is, Nexon is a COMPANY that spends money to make money. It costs money to run the servers and everything, and Cash Shop is the only way they can get it other than iTCG. How do they get people to buy from the Cash Shop? Advertisement. If you got what you wanted, MapleStory would be DEAD.
You don't even have to take Eco to know what I'm talking about, it's common sense.
