why do people always think that WoW is only for nerds. i am popular in school and have alot of friends that come over. so i don't tell people i play mmorpgs. that would make me a nerd. i was just curious.

i won't drop it in as conversation but i am on a gaming sorta course so everyone in my class plays game so no on really thinks your a nerd. But the people i'd usually get called a nerd by would be chavs who spend all their time sitting around in parks smoking woo! Rather be at home

WoW is portrayed as it is because of the amount of time required to play,also the crowd it attracts. Gamers,usally the type of people who are sterotyped for ,tons of things... Nerds,No lifes(half the time its sayed is by like 9 year olds) and People who dont get laid. Normally, Casual gamers play WoW,like for an hour or two a day(if u can get any thing accomplished in such a small time factor ill be amazed),and then theres the hardcore gamers,who spend alot of time on WoW(such as myself,all together ive clocked 2k+ hours).

But yea,in shorter words,its addictive,it will steal lives,and it will break friendships. Luckily ive only suffered 1 of these,instead of all of them.

so ya. i am nerd when i get on teh computer at home. but at school i am totally different person. and thats why i think that wow is a nerd game.

Being a likable personable person is what determines that, and no looks really don't have much to do with it. Some of the fattest ugliest mother fuckers are some of the coolest people you'll ever meet. Come out from behind your stereotypical mask and take a look at the real world.
