Hey all, Ive been playing City of heroes for 3 years now and iam starting to get bored, ive been trying new games and ive deleted them within 3 days cause they get really repetitive.
its all grind...log on grind...log out....the look forward to logging back on and grinding again, i cant take it anymore. ive been thinking about getting guild wars, i hear its got a good replay value and allot of classes. i went to the Plaync website and they have allot of diffrent versions of guild wars. Fractions Eyes of the north Night fall Prophecies i dont know which one i should get and i need help picking. can anyone tell me which one is good to get and why? |

Hi
This game is pretty good but realise that the lvl cap is only 20 and its all instanced but if you want my opinion the best one is Prophecies as it has the most fantasy feel with it and you wont get bored. Eye of the north is a expansion you can get but u need a guild wars game it just introduces more areas and stuff. |

OK,
Ill explain some things ok? Prophecies is Guildwars (original) 6 classes and set in the region Kryta Factions and nightfall are like Guildwars (original) But factions is set in the asian-ish world of Cantha and Nighfall in the tropical (jungle ish) Elona. Normally u can be a Elementalist monk necromancer archer mesmer and a warrior if u get factions this adds Assasin and Ritualist if u start there. If nightfall it adds Dervish and sunspear. Eye of the north is an expension for players who are far in guildwars (lvl 20 and strong (max)) Guildwars is Roleplaying the strength u get is by getting 20 and ROLEPLAYING, Its a great game If u have more than 1 guildwars u can travel between them and if u do things are diffrend there aswell... as on if u start there. Its complex but.. Pick what u like. Nighfall aslo ADDS skills for assasin and ritualist if u travel there. Eye of the north adds skills for all classes aswell but, as i said before its an expension to expierianced players. GUILDWARS IS GREAT but u can go play alone or MAKE party's in town or outpost, or pvp its not i see players everywhere u see them if there with u in missions or just hunting if u have them in a party or if its pvp or if the mission has 2 (local and forgein) ... U prolly dont know what i say right? Depends on the class u like and what u want.. There is also sub class system.. but ull get into it The cap is 20 but.. its just the beggining the strenght u get trough roleplaying and unlocking LOADS of skills... |

haha Angel of Death mistakenly put Fractions. But really, any game would be fine. I wouldn't start off with Factions, but if you get really into the franchise, you'll find a way to get every Guildwars game ^^. However the population is slowly dying and spread narrowly through the four games. I was lucky enough to get Nightfall as my first game a couple of months after it's release. Boy, was it fun doing PuGs!. I'd suggest you get one of the three stand alones + the expansion, although I'm not a big fan of it, you could probably find parties for dungeons. Once you get more into it, you could probably head over to one of the fansites, for guild recruitments ^^.
